Trails End Inn is located in Keene Valley, near Lake Placid, amid spectacular mountains in the heart of the High Peaks Region. Hike or snowshoe right from the back door! This 1902 Adirondack style inn is 3/10 mile off the road in a quiet meadow and features wide board pine floors, brick fireplaces, spacious guest rooms, screened sleeping porches, and clawfoot bathtubs. The Inn is open all year long and is located on Route 30 (Adirondack Trail Scenic Highway), 6 miles south of Indian Lake, New York. The property is on a plateau at the base of Snowy Mountain (elv. 3995') overlooking Indian Lake. "Snowy" is the highest mountain outside of the Adirondack Mountains High Peaks Region and is a popular four seasons hiking destination. We are centrally located in the middle of the Adirondack Park. In addition to the limitless activites in the region, guests can also enjoy relaxing, scenic, day trips to Lake Placid, Lake George and Old Forge.
