A continental breakfast is served every morning in our sunny breakfast room or you can relax on our outside deck with your morning coffee. Sound Reach was built in 1968 by a three-generation team of the Bullard family. The exterior is made of cedar logs and built around a door the Bullards sailed over from London--an antique door four feet wide with a brass lion's head knocker. The farmhouse at Bartlett Farm has been in the Bartlett family since it was built in 1784. The house was updated in the 1990’s, while the surrounding farm is a work in progress. Bartlett Farm is active year round, Maple syruping in late winter, maintaining a small market garden, and haying fields throughout the spring and summer and finishing the year with Christmas trees. The farm has a menagerie of animals that require daily care and attention, including Fallow Deer, cows, ducks, chickens and a bison. The common living room has a working fireplace and a TV, where guests can relax before they head out for the evening or when they return. When the weather is warm enough the wrap around porch is a great place for catching up on your reading or just relaxing.

Butternut Farm was built in two stages by Jonathan Hale, beginning in 1720, the year of his marriage. The interior of this classic Colonial house was painstakingly restored to its original condition by innkeeper Don Reid by exposing the original wide brick fireplaces, uncovering the broad pumpkin-pine floorboards and removing paint from the paneling on many of the rooms' walls.
