    from the I-94 Expressway take exit 183 and go north. You will be on Huron St. Go through 2 intersections. In the next block on the right there will be a large lighted blue sign for the American Legion and after that are 2 old houses with a shared driveway. We are one of those. There is a sign at the driveway and the house is a dusty rose color. Turn into the driveway between the houses and park in the rear, and enter the house in the rear.

      Since it is baked, never stirred, the texture is different. It is mixed with milk, grated apple, dried cherries and toasted almonds and just a touch of brown sugar in a casserole and baked. This is like a breakfast pudding and is loved by all who try it.

The rose covered archway invites you to the comfortable seating,dining able and chairs, where you can read a book or engage in conversation. Climbing roses, day lilies and potted plantswrap you in color and fragrance.. In the warmer months, this is a favorite gathering spot for guests.In room #3,colors of softest cream and green complement the carved maple furniture. Lace curtains add to the old world charm in this room with a queen size bed, private bath with shower, tv/vcr, telephone, and ceiling fan. The drop-down desk provides work space for business travelers. Wireless internet service is available throughout the Inn.It is located on the main floor, near the parlors.
