To have Larry and Lisa as Host and Hostess at Cocoa Cottage was absolutely wonderful. Both are uniquely talented and have combined their skills and talents to provide a delightful and elegant stay in their 1912 Restored Arts and Crafts Home. The arrival "welcome" was greatly appreciated after driving most of the day and very tasty for sure. The beautiful presentation of chocolate cake cup with chocolate filling and raspberry and whip cream.....wow....what a welcome! The suggested places for dinner was greatly appreciated and after I shared what I had a hunger for - there was a great place just two block away. The walk to dinner in a nice neighborhood and main street was pleasant. Upon return from dinner, my bed was turned down, suitcase on a rack, a handwritten and signed note welcomed me again and was topped with candy. The glass of Port make the leap to bed extra special. I slept well until the aromas of breakfast aroused me before the alarm. Oh, the Breakfast. Cottage Eggs in a creative crepe along side a pear poached in Merlot...and with the fresh huge strawberries and their home made chocolate - the breakfast was Over-the-Top! The most elegant and smartly presented and plated breakfast, I have ever had in my 66 years of life. Larry and Lisa as Host and Hostess set the tone - it was a wonderful time. To travel and stay at a B & B is to truly travel well! I highly recommend Cocoa Cottage and these charming Inn Keepers! Roy Kronsbein

My husband and I celebrated our 15th anniversary with a short get-away to the Cocoa Cottage B&B. We LOVED everything about it. Breakfast was amazing, the wine and chocolate reception was divine. We will be back!

We loved the attention to detail from the port ready and waiting in our room to the wonderful breakfast. There was nothing about our stay we didn't like. I emailed ahead for some dinner recommendations since it was New Year's Eve and I knew not everything would be open. Our hosts offered to assist us in getting a reservation to a wine dinner at Harbor View Grille and even emailed the chef for us. We don't stay at B&Bs often because we mostly camp. This was our second B&B experience ever and we were very pleased.

I don't have another stay to compare to, but I DO have my home, and it was as comfortable and clean as I keep my home. The food was wonderful, and the hosts were always in sight and ready to answer questions or just chat. I would recommend the Cocoa Cottage to anyone.

We stayed at the Cocoa Cottage for our anniversary. Larry and Lisa are one of the kindest most genuinely hospitable couples my husband and I have ever met at a bed and breakfast. Their home was beautifully redone and our room (the Ghirardelli room) had a wonderful whirlpool tub. We so enjoyed our stay right from the start. When we arrived, they had chocolate desserts AND spinach artichoke dip which were both excellent, and wine as well! The next morning for breakfast, I was honestly blown away by how yummy it was. It was like we were eating breakfast at a 5 star restaurant. Even if the whole house was gross (which it totally wasn't, it was clean and cozy) I would totally go back just for the breakfast: that's how good it was. All of that aside though, the hosts, Larry and Lisa were such a joy. They even special ordered some fudge labeled with our names and anniversary date on it to present to us for our anniversary. That was a special touch that we were not expecting. They really put time and thought into making our stay a great one. I would recommend this to any friend or family member looking for a cozy stay at a bed and breakfast. Side note: the town they're in was really cute and had great shops and a beautiful view of the white lake bay.
