    A restful wonderful experience

    August 25, 2012

I just returned from a 2 night stay at Whispering Waters (August 22,23 - 2012) and loved every minute of the experience. Be forewarned that GPS brings you to a shack just .5 miles before you actually get to the Whispering Waters property. Do not panic, just ride .5 miles south down the one lane unpaved road and you will find it. We stayed in the cabin - a lovely, clean though simple accommodation - very private, with a wonderful porch facing the river. We could walk a few yards and actually sit right at the river. We could see the stars from the loft bedroom with skylights. The living room was big enough and very comfortable. The bathroom with shower was small but just fine. The experience was outstanding. We strolled around the property, visiting the horse and 2 alpacas, taking the nature trail, and just sitting along the river. Brian made delicious breakfasts (lots of fruit, great coffee, blueberry pancakes one morning, french toast the other). I highly recommend this b&b and hope to return someday.

    Amazing Get-Away!

    July 08, 2009

We discovered this magical retreat online, and have been returning for years. It's away from the hustle-bustle of town, but within easy driving distance. This is a beautifully decorated B&B, with an amazing meditation room that features a high-beamed ceiling and a wall of windows. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and when you open the window, you can hear the sound of the bubbling creek... it's so peaceful! The woods around the premises are delightful too. Besides that, Brian makes a delicious breakfast, and he'll accommodate your dietary preferences. The warmth and friendliness of the people, as well as the comfortable rooms and unique setting make this an unforgettable spot. I'd HIGHLY recommend it!

My husband and I stayed in the cabin at whispering waters and were delighted with the accommodations. The facilities were beautiful and the property was inspiring. We are anxious to return and share the experience with friends.

    Fantastic Weekend

    July 16, 2007

We stayed here during the Cherry Festival. The property is beautiful ! We stayed in the Spring House Suite. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. Our inn keeper Brian was a great host and cook ! The property is only 7 mi outside the downtown area. It was very quiet, peaceful and private. We look forward to our next stay. We wish we could've stayed longer.
