Lakefront Two Bedroom Cottage. Sitting Room has a lovely bay window overlooking the beach and Lake Michigan. The fireplace is in between the sitting room and the bedroom which has a queen size bed. There is a sleeper sofa in the sitting room.
Two bedroom cottage kitchen. Our kitchens have all been renovated and are very well supplied - you don't need to bring anything!

One bedroom Cottage. This unit has a small private patio as well as use of the deck overlooking the water.

One bedroom Cottage. Kitchen and Sitting Area. This cottage has a double bed in the bedroom and a private patio. The other one bedroom unit is very similar, but has a queen size bed in the bedroom and no private patio. Otherwise, they are very similar.
This is the deck overlooking the water for the one bedroom cottages. It is at 401 North Shore Drive, down the street from our main property.

Perfect for a family vacation or a romantic getaway, our cottages offer a glimpse of the best of Michigan throughout the year. Greeting you at MichiMonaMac Lakeshore Cottages are Kathy McDonald and Joe Monahan, managers and owners. An excellent source of information for the out of town visitor, you will find us interesting in helping to make your discovery of historic South Haven a wonderful experience. These Cottages are located on the Golden Mile in South Haven, a stretch of white sand beach as lovely as any -- anywhere. From this location, you can walk to parks, to the corner store to get an ice cream cone, or to the marina to watch the boats come and go. Walk downtown and choose between restuarants, shops and antique stores and a first run movie theatre. There is a great atmosphere at MichMonaMac. Summer finds our guests playing basketball in the parking lot, roasting marshmallows over a beach fire, or playing volleyball on the beach. Relax in the hammock. Rent bikes at the corner and hit the 34-mile Kal-Haven bike trail. Come for fall colors. Or snuggle up with a good book by the fire while Lake Michigan puts on a show. Scratch that spring fever itch in beautiful southwest Michigan!

My stay in August was a wonderful experience. Kathy is a great hostess...the place was spotless, the other guests very inclusive when you were out on the deck. The walks on the beach are wonderful, the sunsets spectacular!

Kathy McDonald knows how to take care of her guests and if anything, my most recent stay at her Michi-Mona-Mac cottages was even more fun than last time. I can't say enough about this terrific vacation rental. Casual atmosphere, beautiful views and interesting people. I can't wait to go back.
