5 out of 5The best in town
November 08, 2012
We recently stayed at the Wickwood Inn and could not have been more pleased. We have also stayed at other Bed & Breakfasts in Saugatuck, and while nice, nothing can compare to the Wickwood. The beautiful decor of the historic Inn charms you the moment you walk in. The Innkeepers are very friendly and helpful and tempted us with homemade goodies afternoon and evening and brought early morning coffee right outside our door! Our room was beautifully appointed, super clean and cozy. The food is the best thing though. We were amazed at the quantity and creativity of evening appetizers and the morning brunch. Everything was so delicious, and we were served something different each evening and morning. Cookbook author Julee Rosso's recipes really shine in her Inn. You just can't beat this beautiful Inn for your stay. It is also very conveniently located to everything in town - great walks every day.
5 out of 5Home away from home
November 05, 2011
We stay here a couple times a year for a quick get-away, usually 3-4 days. I almost look forward to bad weather so that I can sit by the fireplace or on the porch to read, enjoy the snacks, and sip coffee or tea. Shopping, restaurants, and the marina are only a block or two away. Buffet breakfast is gourmet. Staff anticipates needs and unobtrusively meets them. One of us is disabled, and they quickly figured out what they need to do to comfortably accommodate us. We look forward to our next visit.

Great food as one would expect from a Inn owned by a cookbook author.Very accommadating staff and location is very convenient to shops, galleries, the river. That said the room was quite small with only one chair-may vary with which room you are in.
