The Terrace Inn is a 3 story historic hotel and restaurant located in the Bay View Association, a Victorian cottage community and music campus. The Inn has 37 rooms, an on-site restaurant with liquor license, and a seasonal ice cream parlor. All rooms have private baths, eco-friendly amenities, hair dryer, cable tv, air conditioners (seasonally), and many original antiques, all rooms also include a deluxe continental breakfast. Rates vary from $99-$199 depending on the room type, amenities, and time of year/day of week. Our restaurant is open weekends in the quiet-season and daily in the peak-season. This summer we opened our new Outdoor Terrace in celebration of our 100th birthday. The DeVol dining room can seat 130 guests and host private events- weddings and banquets. During our quiet-season we host many special event weekends including: jazz, ghost hunters, western dance, and holiday specials. In January and February we offer Sleigh Rides on Saturday evening along with dinner. The Inn is open year round, except for 6 weeks in March and the beginning of April. We are also closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The Inn is minutes away from many outdoor activiteis, downtown Petoskey/Harbor Springs/Charlevoix. Petoskey is known for our Million Dollar Sunsets!

    Quiet, quaint, affordable

    May 12, 2013

I stay here only to visit relatives in area. This will be my 4th visit within 7 years. Their sister hotel is much nicer but pricer. This place is old but kept up nicely and in a residential neighborhood. Beware, there is no elevator to get to 2nd or 3rd floor. Continental breakfasts are too sweet wish they could offer oatmeal something less sugar. I hear their dinners and pizzas are good. If you want quiet, this is it. Rooms are affordable and you have a big choice if booking early.

We spent 3 days at the Terrace Inn for my nieces wedding.

    January 01, 2013

The staff was outstanding in helping us with the wedding. We couldn't have wished for a better venue, and Mo and his team did everything possible to assure the wedding was perfect - and it was. The accommodations were great, we enjoyed the breakfast buffets in the mornings - food was very good. We would highly recommend for a special event or just a nice quiet get-away.

    Always enjoy our stay

    November 05, 2012

This is the third time we have been able to spend time at the Terrace Inn. The hosts and staff are exceptionally friendly and eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The food is exceptional and my husband and I can't wait until our next visit, hopefully in the Spring. This is a great place and a great value.

Victorian charm that warrants return visits.

    October 24, 2012

This was my second stay at the lovely Terrace Inn. Each time I found the experience enjoyable. Very clean and charmingly decorated accommodations in a beautiful setting. The owners and staff are always very personable. I look forward to returning!

    A relaxing place to stay

    August 01, 2012

This is a very nice B & B to stay if you would like to get in the waters closely. Very nice and historical. Its not too expensive and yet met our expectations. We definitely enjoyed our stay at this place plus the fact that the whole area in this neighborhood is safe and beautiful. The place also have a nice accommodation, wi-fi connection, and friendly staff to answer the questions of first time tourists in this area like us.

    Had a good time

    January 04, 2012

Breakfast left a little to be desired, we had more of a continental breakfast rather than a traditional B&B breakfast. This is in a very beautiful location. Papa Tony's is an excellent place for pizza!

    Great Stay

    July 27, 2011

We stayed only one night at the Terrace Inn and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was comfortable - nice to have air conditioning in record breaking heat. Staff was helpful and hospitable. Food was great. Wonderful setting and atmosphere. We would certainly return.
