    Hospitality At It's Best

    November 24, 2012

Doug & Robin made my stay a "Home Away From Home"! I spent two nights with these nice people and they went out of their way to care for me. I was in town to do some guided fishing on the Muskegon River and was told by my outfitter that he would pick me up at 7:00 AM each morning. Most places I know, wouldn't have a breakfast available until 7:00 or 8:00 AM. I was up at 5:30 and the coffee was ready as soon as I was dressed and a great breakfast ready by 6:00 AM ......... Unbelievable!

    A personalized B&B

    August 01, 2012

We have a very pleasant stay at this B&B. The Innkeepers are very nice and accommodating, they made us feel like we are at home and never treated us just like guests. I can say that the kind of service we received from them is very personalize as they really attended to all of our needs. They gave us a tour of the house, gave us all the informations that we needed (wi-fi, restaurants referral, etc). We never had the chance to visit the museum in Newaygo or explore the town but we definitely have a good stay. Mostly, we enjoyed the company of the Innkeepers.

    Our Newago discovery

    July 27, 2012

We came to Newaygo to hear some of our daughters friends play in a blue grass concert at a summer camp. We had never heard of Newago, and were leery of staying in the only B & B in town. Much to our delight, however, we found a lovely retreat in this beautiful bed & breakfast. The rooms were tastefully appointed and very comfortable. Since this wasn't a "romantic getaway" as our usual stay at a bed & breakfast is we were pleasantly surprised to find a room with a pull out couch where my mother could sleep...and it was comfortable, too. Bedding was plentiful & the temperature could be set for any comfort level. The service was great. The only drawback was we wanted to rent a movie & there was no hook up to connect the DVD to the television. Our host, Doug was duly embarrassed by the oversight and I'm sure he will have it fixed for the next guests. He was so pleasantly responsive to any of our requests. The value was great for a B&B of this caliber. Cleanliness was superb. The dining was just what you live for at a B & B. While so many are going the way of "continental", Robin holds up the tradition of good, home-cooked breakfast, plentiful enough to stuff ourselves.....and the treats she leaves out in the afternoon for guests to indulge in.....well... let me just say we overindulged! Best of all, Robin & Doug are some of the most friendly people you'd want to meet and easy to talk to. Their narration of the history of the town was a delight for my history buff husband....oh and lest I forget...an added bonus is they feature an artist of the month and their work.....I saw some beautiful gourd art that added to the fun.

    Very nice!

    July 26, 2012

My girlfriend and I stayed here on July 20, 2012 and had a wonderful time. It was our first Bed and Breakfast experience so we didn't completely know how to act or what to do. Newaygo is a nice little town that has a nice park walk along the river. Doug and Robin were a delight, very nice people and they enjoyed finding out information about us. Had a great time!

    Lovely B&B

    July 25, 2012

Doug & Robin are very respectable owners of this beautiful B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay with them. The mansion is beautiful inside and out. The breakfasts were superb! You two are wonderful hosts to all of your guests. We will highly recommend your place to others and hope to come back soon.

    Innkeeper Response

    Relaxing Anniversary

    May 22, 2012

My husband and I stayed with Doug and Robin for our 5th wedding anniversary. This is an adorable B&B and our room was larger than I am used to at a B&B. We stayed in the lumberman suite. The B&B is in a tiny town and we enjoyed being able to walk around and hike without hassling with crowds. Doug and Robin were excellent hosts and we enjoyed our conversations at breakfast. The buffet style breakfast was nice and gave us a chance to try a little of everything.

    Wonderful Bed and Breakfast

    April 26, 2012

Me and my girlfriend spent one night at this B&B and that stay was wonderful. Doug and Robin did a wonderful job making us feel at home. The house was neat and clean and felt very home like. The food served at breakfast was delicious. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone.
