Sans Souci Euro Inn

We stay with Angie frequently and are always pleased.

We stayed in Fisherman's Cottage over the Christmas holiday and enjoyed privacy, peace and tranquility on the grounds of Sans Souci Euro Inn. The cottage is equipped with everything one needs from aluminum foil to toothpaste. We were able to escape from the hectic world and relax by the fire each night, and just take a step back to a slower pace in the country. The property has a private lake that was filled with birds while we were there. The furnishings in the cottage were comfortable and the atmosphere quaint. There was a full washer and dryer, dishwasher, large HD flat screen TV, and WiFi access. There is no cable or satellite TV but we honestly didn't miss it. The local channels came from several cities and there is a DVD player for movies. The king sized bed was very comfortable and there are even two bunk beds for children if you have them. We didn't need a single thing that wasn't provided ahead of time. Sans Souci Euro Inn is minutes from fine dinng in New Buffalo and from sightseeing along the Red Arrow Highway including the quaint shops in St. Joseph. We hope to visit again.

You will not be disappointed! If you want a beautiful place to relax this is it! Our son and dog came with us and I thought they would run themself ragged - running, playing all day. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. You can walk around the lake or ride your bike and explore. They no longer serve food here but you really don't need it, there are full kitchens and a grill and the town has some great restaurants! Go here!

We stayed last weekend for the first time in New Buffalo. Angie was willing to accommodate us with our dog in the green heron suite. The king size bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. The patio doors opened to a little area where you could sit outside, enjoy the view, & read a book. The bathroom was large & the shower was good although we didn't get to try the hot tub. The kitchen was small but had a refrigerator & microwave. The living room was nice size with a small tv & dvd player. The grounds were quiet & remote. Angie was great & her pup was so cute. We would stay again.

My husband, dog and I stayed here recently and we all really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was clean, comfortable and relaxing. We look forward to coming back with more of the family! The lake was perfect and so refreshing! Cannot wait to come back!

My husband and I booked the Kingfisher suite for our anniversary. Everything was perfect. Angie is wonderful! We felt very welcome! I highly recommend a visit to Sans Souci! We will be making reservations again next year!

Exactly what we were looking for- A quiet weekend away from everything. Angie was helpful and made us feel welcome. We stayed in the Kingfisher Suite and everything was clean and in working order. The bed was comfortable and we did not have any immediate neighbors so it was very quiet and secluded. The tub does take a long time to fill up but she did make us aware of that beforehand. I looking forward to visiting again.

Great property with lake, canoe, hammocks etc. There are 2 cottages by the lake which are attached, but feel very private. Decor is basic, old, rustic. Could use an upgrade but it's sufficient for a long weekend, enjoying the fireplace, nature walks, star gazing and so forth. Service is great, but allowing privacy, however no meals are available. You can find some nicer options in New Buffalo or nearby, or cook your own in the full service Kitchen. There is a hot tub in the bedroom.

My wife and I was looking for a nice weekend away. That is exactly what we got. The room was bigger than expected and the bathroom was huge. We stayed in the Kingfisher Suite. The only issue that we had was that the jacuzzi tub took a long time to fill up. If you are staying there and want to get into the tub, make sure that you start the water going about 20-25 minutes before you want to get in.

We stayed during a nice fall weekend. Careful ordering Pizza though, could get dicey as T-Mobile got no signal there and there are no room phones.

This was the best location for a relaxing romantic weekend! The property is beautiful, and the Fisherman's Cottage is the perfect size for two people to share. We saved money by making our own meals in the kitchen, which comes fully equipped with everything you would need (and more!). Angie, the owner, is very pleasant and made us feel welcome. Can't wait to go back!!

I have now stayed twice at Sans Souci, once in July for my 60th birthday celebration and once over Labor Day. I recommend this Bed and Breakfast without reservations. The setting is beautiful and the owner is great. The dogs love the path around the pond and our granddaughter chooses the "little beach" rather than lake Michigan. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Context: Hubby and I went for an event in the area. Rooms: You get a lot of room for your money. We got the smallest cottage and it had a large master bedroom, living room, bathroom with a huge jacuzzi, and kitchenette. Only downside is that furniture was a bit dated, low quality mattress, and bathroom needs re-caulking. Service: Very friendly grounds manager. Everything we might need was in our room already. My only complaint here is that she didn't answer the telephone when we were trying to confirm reservations, although she did respond to email. They no longer offer breakfast but there were nice spots in the area. Amenities: LOVED the jacuzzi. Cable was a little limited but there was free WIFI. Our TMobile phones didn't work but our Verizon ipad connection did. Overall, this gave us a wonderful secluded getaway feel. Great bargin too, this place runs about 50% cheaper than other spots nearby.

Sans Souci is a terrific property with great amenities and thoughtful staff. We go back every year for a romantic getaway.

We enjoyed the location, the room, and the fact that breakfasts were delivered to your suite at the exact time you told the inkeepers rather than eating at in a dining area at a shared table.

We have gone to Sans Souci Euro Inn every year since out honeymoon. We love the property, rooms are just like home, and the breakfast is AMAZING!!! Sue and Angie will do everything they can to make it memoriable and they have. We are already planning our next trip to Sans Souci and can not wait. They even have romance package upon your request. You will not find another B&B with a kitchen area, living room bedroom and bath all seperate, but all in your room. All we can say is you will NOT be disapointed!!!!

We stayed in the Fisherman Suite. It was a nice cozy suite for two people possibly 3. Comfortable bed and living area. Room had a fireplace which was nice but tough to get started every night so that was a bit frustrating. I wish the whirlpool was not outdated because it took long to fill before we could start it. Water has a foul odor which was not pleasant when brushing or showering. Breakfast was the best treat in the mornings. Owners and house-keeping were extremely wonderful. Landscape and nature walk were beautiful which is probably why they bednbreakfast is on the pricey side. Would return once more time but stay in different suite.

My husband and I spent the weekend in the Kingfisher Suite and oh my goodness!!! The suite was outstanding. Angie is so warm. And the breakfast served in your room at the time you request was absolutely to die for. The grounds are outstanding. Very relaxing and romantic. I can't wait to go back.

My stay at Sans Souci was outstanding. The rooms were fabulous and the peaceful setting was wonderful. It was way above my expectations. The breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room piping hot. I highly reccommend staying at San Souci!

A very private and quiet location that allowed my wife and I to unwind! The cabins by the lake were incredible, very clean, and cozy. I will return!

The grounds are lovely, suites are beautiful and spacious, and the staff is wonderful. This quiet location is a short driving distance from many activities. Sans Souci is the perfect place to reconnect with nature and your special someone.

My girlfriend wanted a quiet getaway from Chicago. Very relaxing.

We first discovered Sans Souci when we celebrated our 25th anniversary, and its charm has wooed us back for 9 consecutive years! Angie and Sue are so accommodating, the setting so peaceful, the birds so entertaining, the food so delicious. A wonderful escape!

You couldn't ask for a better weekend/week getaway. Only 1.5 hours from Chicago, Sans Souci is a relaxing, quiet, beautiful escape in the heart of the woods...only 5 mins to downtown New Buffalo...we'll be back!

This is a delightful property in a wonderful area. Just a little distance from New Buffalo/Harbor Country and dining/shopping, but far enough away to make one feel like they are in the country. Stayed in the Green Heron Suite, cozy furnishings and decor. A few spots had some spiderwebs, but so does my residence! The food in the am is very good, and the owner, Angie, is the best. Highly recommended, especially for couples. Dining recs: Bentwood in the Marina Grand Hotel, Brewster's Italina, Stray Dog Cafe (in season, Redamak's).

San Souci Inn is a terrific escape spot. It's close to Chicago and yet you're 'far away' Beautiful surroundings, great accommodations. it's tops!

S.S. offers beautiful ground and comfortable accommodations. Sue and Angie do a great job with in-room breakfast and off-grounds dinner recommendations. It was a peaceful getaway. The Kingfisher Suite was large and comfortable for spending time reading or just resting.

We recently enjoyed our 6th annual San Souci - located family reunion. The two houses plus the Green Heron Suite are just right for us -- beautiful, private, and perfect for inside & outside interaction. The big house provides the lovely enclosed dining and game room. We take our food & clothes & all else is provided. Our badminton set stays in a place along with various other outside games & we can hike, visit or swim in our own lake (all placed where youngsters are safe but close enough for good family sand play & swimming) when we choose. There are close-by entertainment places, but we enjoy the nature and quiet of this beautiful, private "home" where Angie & Sue warmly welcome us and there are with any help we might request. We will return next year!

Very much enjoyed our stay. The room was large and clean. Breakfast was outstanding. I requested a special item for breakfast due to a birthday and they were more than accomodating. I would highly recommend.

San Souci's Angie and Sue beautifully took care of every aspect of a 2-day offsite team building meeting for my six-person leadership team. The comfortable lay-back nature of Sans Souci allowed us to focus on our work without the distractions of a big-city hotel or office environment. We got a lot done in this wonderfully relaxing setting.

Beautiful property with private lake, great for fishing and nature walks. Children are welcome and family friendly. Would be great for family reunions, lots of common area. No breakfast or food, so bring your own, full kitchen available. Innkeepers are hospitable.

We wanted to get away before our first baby arrived. Sans Souci was everything we hoped for. The cottage was private & on a beautiful lake. We enjoyed everything about it.The service was wonderful!!

We have 3 kids 5 and under. We rented one of the cottages. The kids loved it. They fished, played in the sand and splashed in the water...right outside your door. However, I expected the accomodations to be cleaner and more updated for the money. The cottages are part of a duplex. Also, their website states they don't allow pets, but our neighbor had one. So if you have allergies or kids who are afraid of dogs, ask plenty of questions. The kitchen could've used a good spring cleaning. The innskeeper and owner were more than accomodating of our requests. They went out of their way and we were pleased with their service.

This place has it all - romance, relaxation, a great breakfast. Must visit. Enjoy the great location, it's a plus.

What a wonderful place to enjoy life and relax. This is our 2nd time here. As always, Angie makes it so nice - we don't want to leave!
