The Blue Lake Lodge, rich history, relaxing atmosphere, lake front living and a gourmet breakfast! Originally opened in 1913 as the Blue Point Hotel, the Lodge was the perfect retreat for such notables as Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone and Henry Ford. One thousand feet of the best beachfront on Blue lake in the heart of some of Michigan's finest golf and exciting fishing. The Lodge has been home to many weddings and special events. Our lakeside gazebo makes the perfect background for a romantic ceremony and the large lawn and patios are ideal for entertaining. No other bed and breakfast can compare, whether it's location, food, scenery, beachfront, hospitality or comfort!

We love the Blue Lake Lodge! Everything is outstanding, it is cozy and it feels like home. The owners Barb and Jock are great Hosts! It is a relaxing place to be, enjoy the sun and the lake in the summer or the snow and frozen lake with ability to snowmobile or snowshoeing in the winter. Thank you so much for such a great get away place!!

When you stay at a hotel, it is all business and cool reception. At the Blue Lake Lodge B & B there was extra service of water at your bedside, europeon bed duvet, and the warmth of the hospitality. When we arrived in the late evening, we were shown the home, toured the grounds and given the time for breakfast. Now the breakfast was fit for a king, four courses. You joined the other guests and family for easy conversation and great food. We will make the Blue Lake Lodge B & B our home away from home. Thanks Jock and Barb.

My son and I needed a place to stay for the weekend and stumbled up Blue Lake. I'm not sure if we were happier with the accommodations or the hospitality as the entire experience was great! Where else can you find a B/B on a wonderful lake? The whole 'lake experience' was great. We swam, fished, and jumped off the raft. The loons and other wildlife were abundandt; it was so relaxing.
