Rose Hill Inn is an elegant 1860 Italianate mansion,
sitting high on a hill overlooking Marshall. Once the home of the founder of the American Boy Scouts, the mansion features twelve-foot
ceilings, tall windows with lovely views, fireplaces, and fine
Victorian antiques, all combining to create a mood of tranquility
and escape from the modern world.
Situated on three acres of grounds surrounded by woods,
Rose Hill offers guests the opportunity to use the private tennis
court or swimming pool, stroll in the gardens, or just relax with
a good book on the patio or one of the porches. Nearby there are golf courses and a charming 19th century town filled with antique shops and architectural wonders. All rooms are decorated in 19th century style in every detail, but with 20th century luxuries: central air, private baths, telephones, and fireplaces in some rooms.
The rose Hill Inn is also the perfect place for your wedding, either inside in the parlor, or outside in the beautiful Victorian gazebo. We have packages to make your wedding planning easy and affordable.

most dates must be made 14 days in advance to receive a
refund of
the deposit less a $20 handling fee. Cancellations less
than 14
days in advance will result in the deposit being forfeited.
Cancellations for multiple rooms or for special event dates
must
be made 30 days in advance; deposits are refunded less
the
handling fee per room. With less than 30 days notice, the
deposit
