My husband and I stay in B&B's a lot. The Sylvan Inn is far and above the nicest we've ever stayed in. Excellent location. Helpful staff. Beautiful room (the Penthouse). Close to everything we wanted to do. We will return!

Spotless and well maintained property. Innkeepers were very helpful with restaurant reservations and hiking suggestions. We visit every year with a group of 10 or more friends. A great place to kick back and relax.

Our Hostess handled a very large croud both graciously and effectively. We had a great time. The rooms and the staff were wonderful.

We stayed at the Sylvan Inn while traveling around the state. It was a very pleasant surprise - our first time in Glen Arbor. Ralph was quite a genial host. We had Room #3 (I think) which was gorgeous, relaxing and next to the "spa" - an area off the back of the inn with a hot tub and dry sauna. We very much enjoyed the hot tub, and liked that we were tucked back into a"private" area of the inn. The room was very comfortable for relaxing, reading, with a nice view of the private yard. The breakfast was just enough for us - small quiches complementing a selection of toasts, bread, fruit - perfect. Lots of hot coffee, juice - yummy. Rose helped us make appointments at a place right across the street for a massage the next morning - ahhh! And they recommended a great restaurant in town. Next time we will definitely plan a longer stay and see more of the town, beach, etc.

We have stayed here twice with a group of friends. The innkeepers are very friendly and helpful. Our room was tastefully decorated and very clean. My only complaint is that the breakfast was quite limited and could have included some more filling foods.
