The estate is a showcase for art furniture and custom woodwork. Gourmet breakfasts are served to order for each guest although steak and ommelettes are what many guests prefer. There is a library, wet bar/recreation room and a meeting room which will accommodate comfortably up to 35 people. All eight suites offer the utmost privacy. A guest cottage is also on the property. Most of our suites offer access to outdoor decks or sitting areas. Each suite has a walk in shower and separate dressing area. The Master Suite has a jacuzzi tub. There is a six person therapeutic hot tub with over forty jets on the deck which offers privacy (it’s walled on three sides) and is accessible to all our guests. We also have a game room with competition pool table, ping pong, foos ball, dart and internet café and juke box. There’s Wireless Internet, Direct T.V, DVD's & Stereos. Activities on the premises include Croquet, Horseshoes, Basketball, Volleyball and evening bon-fires-weather permitting. Horseback riding, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, golf, swimming, MSU and the state capitol are all less than 10 minutes from the estate. If you want decorative ideas or unique artistic design ideas for your home then you should visit the House In Woods. Exotic woods abound; See naturally finished Ebony, Mahogany, Wenge, Purple Heart, Lacewood, Black Walnut, Oak, Cocabella, Padauk and more. Truly a grand experience! We are located at the Round Lake Rd. exit off 127 just N. of I-69 and Lansing. On South 127 we are located 8 miles south of St Johns just after the rest area. Turn left/East from either direction. Bond Rd is the first left turn off Round Lake Rd East of 127. First three entries on the right. See you there.

My new husband and I stayed at the House in Woods for our wedding night. Our room was BEAUTIFUL and romantic. We loved the artistic decore and the spacious lovely grounds. Tom and Scott were very fun and accomodating. We cant rate the food only ecause we were tightly scheduled and had to leave early in the morning. I would recommend this site for weddings, family, friends and events.

The house is beautiful with wood work that is outstanding. The bathroom was adorable with a walk-in shower which was tiled and had a seat for convenience. We were just amazed by the style and grace of this B&B. Tom made us delicious veggie omelets with fresh fruit. Thanks to Jeff for sharing his lavish train collection. And of course to Scott for his welcoming personality!!! You will love staying at House in Woods! Susan and Wayne James Gettysburg, PA
