Rohn House & Farm
Built atop this beautiful field and forested spot in 1997, the three story Rohn House is Bed & Breakfast, Textile Design Studio, Yarn Shop, and Home. Designed to enjoy the peaceful beauty and spectacular Burt Lake views, the secluded sixty-three acres the four seasons of Northern Michigan can be enjoyed in every room. (When the snow flys, four-wheel drive transport is best.) Walk the woods and grounds, enjoy the porches, sit in front of the fireplaces, play the grand piano, take KNITTING CLASSES - in our YARN SHOP - see the latest textiles in process, lounge in bed, breakfast on porches. This home was expressly designed for enjoying the quite, simple pleasures of living. Good food, friends and nature at every turn. The Rohn House & Farm is in the middle of God's country with nature being the nearest neighbor. But remember, world class skiing, golfing, boating, shopping, fine eating and Mackinac Island are just minutes away. The three large second-floor guest rooms, each with its own sitting area and private bath. The Master Suite with King bed, gas fireplace, two person jacuzzi, glass shower, has a private North Lake view balcony. The First Suite with King bed, gas fireplace, and shower, has private South balcony with orchard and forest views. The Middle Suite, with twin beds and shower/bath, has a lake view. Rollaways and chair-beds make the possibility of three to a room, at an additional $15.00 fee.
