The Palmer House In was built in 1887, as Albion City Hospital. It was purchased in 1998 by Scott Marvin who saved this beauty from demolition and put much effort into restoration and decorating. The Inn has six guest rooms all with private baths; two rooms with Jacuzzi tubs. We will work with you to design any type of package to suite your needs.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at the Palmer House Inn for our 33rd Wedding anniversary. It was even better than we expected. Scott (the owner) was amazing and gave us an upgraded room at no cost. Food was spectacular! The Inn is beautiful, well maintained and filled with interesting and historical items. Even got to meet Scott's family who were wonderful and warm. We felt like a part of the family. Planning to tell all our friends and go back as often as possible. 5 stars!

Stayed here on Wed., April 17, 2013. Will ABSOLUTELY stay here again when we're in Albion. It's located right off the main street and easy walking distance to the college. Great Victorian decor and nicknacks. Comfy bed. Great coffee - fresh 24/7! They have wi fi which, unfortunately I couldn't access: make sure to ask Scott (owner) what the password is! I didn't try to access it until 1 a.m. which was a bit late to ask for it! Besides this 1 glitch everything was perfect; thank you Scott and Linda. :)

We stayed here last night and just loved it! The Palmer house is a beautiful truly historic building decorated with beautiful antiques from the period. Our host was great and very accommodating as we got in very late. We were very impressed and pleased with our stay!

Beautiful old home with lots of antiques, very clean and comfortable. Rose room has only a bathtub(no shower) and it was located in the room. This was ok but should have been revealed in the room description, so I could have chosen another room if I didn't want this.

We stayed in the 3rd floor room. It was clean and very roomy. I was a little taken aback that the bathroom was only shielded by a curtain that only covered half the room. There were several antiques in the room, including a fragile dish that had a note saying it was very old, surprising to see in a room where we would have had enough space for children. There was a t.v. but it did not work (in our room). Rest of inn was nice and staff was easy to find and very nice. Breakfast was simple but delicious.

Traditional old-fashioned B&B, with beautiful antique furnishings. All rooms are lovely. The third floor suite is a bit funky, and the jacuzzi is big enough only for one person, with no shower. Breakfast was excellent-- good food, lots of it, and very fresh and nicely presented. Friendly staff.

Owner does not live in home and much work is not done to keep the property up. Hired help does breakfast. Nice but nt homey. No cleaning help for used rooms.

It was a nice stay, but sadly surprised to find an added charge for our breakfast. The tv in our room didn't work neither did the internet but we made the best of it.
