Surrounded by woods and water, the Neahtawanta Inn is located on the Old Mission Peninsula, north of Traverse City. Our long front porch faces the lake; the original stone stairs lead to the swimming beach and sunning dock. Our turn-of-the-century Inn is a comfortable, homey place, providing peace and quiet in a relaxed atmosphere. We offer tasty vegetarian breakfasts and yoga classes. The Old Mission Peninsula has seven wineries and your choice of 5 restaurants. We cater to small group retreats who can use the Great Room, sunken fireplace, library and yoga studio.

Neahtawanta is in a peaceful location on the peninsula, close enough to TC, etc.,yet removed enough to feel a world a way when you're at the B&B. Cozy, homey and the innkeepers are so welcoming, you feel immediately at ease. Breakfasts are great. Innkeepers are happy to give suggestions about which winery or restaurant to visit. Clean rooms. Great location on the water. This is a true "up north" experience.
