The Royal Oak Room is our largest… with high ceilings, a private balcony, walk-in closet, an oversized whirlpool tub plus a private refrigerator all of your own. The setting is royal, bright and spacious. Two upscale occasional arm chairs add a touch of flair and are perfect for relaxing with a good book or enjoying a causal conversation.
Choose the table for 2 or enjoy conversation with other guests at the dining room table. We also serve breakfast on the deck or patio.
Garden Victoria Room is suitable for romantic getaways, anniversaries, birthdays or honeymoons. The King-size bed reflects luxurious style of classic French furniture…... in timeless rich cherry finish it offers comfort and space. Enjoy the view of colorful garden and greenery from both windows.
Luxurious linens and bed covers await you in the Pond View King size bedroom. The double oversized closet, with built-in shelves, adds extra space for your luggage and wardrobe. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a weekend stay with Jitka and John at Dove Nest. I cannot fathom better hosts and highly recommend getting to know them. What an excellent encounter Outstanding is not quite high enough for a review guideline; incredible is closer to our experience!

My husband and I stayed at the Dove Nest Bed & Breakfast for a portion of our first anniversary trip. We ran the Detroit Marathon the day prior to our stay, so it was the perfect place to relax and recover after our race! We enjoyed the beautiful fall leaves and birds on the grounds. We are both vegans and John & Jitka prepared us perfect vegan meals that were creative, healthy, and tasty! We also enjoyed local hiking and wine tasting. We had a wonderful time relaxing. Thank you John and Jitka!!

My wife and I wanted a quick getaway from Chicago to celebrate our 19th anniversary. We enjoy St Joes, but wanted a B&B experience vs. a plain hotel room. While a 10min drive from town, the Dove Nest is a very nice location; we could see this as a good home base for a winery tour. The grounds of the property were well maintained and are obviously beautiful in warmer weather. We stayed in the Royal Oak Room and had an excellent time. The room is huge and has a large seperate bathroom/jacuzzi. John was a great host and chef; our breakfast was delicious and filling! Rates were in line with the size of the room and service. We would recommend the Dove Nest to our friends and family and look forward to a return visit during warmer weather.

If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 2 (two) weeks* prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than two (2) weeks* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund may be made. There will be $30.00 admin.fee charged for any changes in reservation. Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. Check-in: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements. Check-out: 11:00 AM. Absolutely No Smoking inside; however designated outdoor smoking area is available (by the firepit). Guests who smoke in their rooms will be asked to check out immediately and a $250.00 charge will be assessed to the credit card on file. We were very pleased that we chose this B & B to celebrate our 42nd anniversary! We stayed in the Royal Oak Room and it was lovely in every way. We especially enjoyed the view of the autumn leaves thru the windowa and the doves from the balcony. The grounds were beautiful and inviting, so it made for a peaceful getaway. We loved the delicious breakfast at our cozy candleit table. And the music and flowers made it even more special. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed visiting with them. We had a memorable stay at the Dove's Nest

I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the place, lovely landscaping, well maintained. Very relaxing. The food was delicious, and the host and hostess were very friendly and tentative to our needs. I would definetly recommend this bed and breakfast.

My two sisters, my father and I spent two nights at the Doves Nest. We loved the fact that we had a private two-room suite. The owners were thoughtful and helpful without being the least bit intrusive. The breakfasts were delightful and the location perfect. We would recommend the Doves Nest and will stay there again.
