Worked for us!

3.0 on August 24, 2015

The two bedroom cabin that we rented at Hilltop was basic but worked fine for my husband and myself and my two kids. My kids are teenagers and being opposite genders really needed separate sleeping so the futon worked great for that. It was clean, which is a biggie for me, and relatively new. We used our grill on the front porch, and were able to hang wet beach towels on the porch railing. Also, they have a washer/dryer for guests to use, which is really nice. The one downfall that I have noticed not only here but at other places is that there never seems to be enough air circulation to dry bath towels thoroughly, but like I said they do have the laundry facilities. They also offered additional towels but that seemed like a waste for just a couple of nights.

Weekend Getaway

4.0 on August 20, 2015

The entire stay was fantastic! The amenities that were available on site were awesome! A huge deck overlooking the beautiful water, fire pits, bbq pits, basketball, life size chess and clean cabins with all the necessary tools to cook a meal. Next time we stay we are bringing our friends! We didn't have the breakfast either morning we were there since we had plans but it smelled amazing!

Winter weekend

4.6 on March 16, 2015

I thought I reserved a room with two beds, but when we arrived Jeanette had it as a room with one bed. She offered us a two bedroom cabin for the same price. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It was a great little cabin for a winter weekend. I can see where it would be really nice for a longer stay in any season. Jeanette was very nice and welcoming. She gave us tips on places to ski. It's a beautiful area and I would stay at Hilltop Cabins again

A great place to stay

excellent location great rooms love this place!

Have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Rooms are great and provide everything a snowmobiler wants for a sledding trip. Perfect locations for hitting the trails, especially late season when town can be thin of snow. Owners treat their patrons the "right" way, a few years back the room we stayed in had an unforeseen plumbing problem. We had to use another cabin's facilities (small inconvenience), but they didn't charge us for the night.

My recent stay

Very. Cozy and clean cabin. Had all the comforts of home after a long day of photo shooting. Owner was friendly and helpful. Location was good. Liked that they were going green. Beds were comfy. Great stay!

UP Stay

2.4 on October 16, 2014

We stayed in the motel and were expecting something very different. The pictures and the reviews are glorified. The owner is trying to do all this by herself and can't get any help so I feel for her. But she needs a handyman!!! Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. But there was no place to put our suitcase-either the floor or the bed. The bathroom was pitiful. The faucet was not attached to the sink top and moved all over when you tried to turn it on. The toilet seat was cracked and we had to put it back together every time we sat on it. The lid would not stay up. My husband propped it up with the plunger!!! The setting for the place was nice but the grounds need TLC. The breakfast room was so dark you couldn't see what you were eating. And there was no juice of any kind. The homemade eats were very good. We wish Jeanette well because she seems very nice and is friendly.

Nice Getaway

Great Fall escape

4.2 on October 01, 2014

We stayed three nights in one of the motel rooms. We were impressed with the property and the owner. There are many choices of sizes of places to stay here. The grounds are lovely and so are the views. A wonderful home cooked meal was offered each morning for breakfast. Everyone staying there was friendly too. The location is great for getting to all the sights as well. We will go back
