We stayed in the Executive Suite and it was just lovely. The room is beautiful with high ceilings and comfortable furniture throughout. The fireplace was perfect for a winter getaway and the bathroom had a wonderful deep tub and old subway tiles. It was so comfy and the house is really beautiful and well restored. Breakfast was yummy with homemade french toast and quiche - and you could help yourself to as much as you liked. We also appreciated the hot tea and ice cream bars available in the guest kitchen. We had a wonderful stay.

They were not at full capacity, so they upgraded our room. The room was very nice, but the bathroom was VERY small. When you sat on the toilet your knees touched the wall almost. I think if we return we'll try the first level rooms, because I believe they have larger bathrooms and are more private. The breakfast was not the worse we've had at B & B's, but it was not the best either. I'm not sure how much longer they will be staying around, because the owners are retiring and the place is up for sale. It does have beautiful Victorian architecture and very pretty. My favorite part was the small kitchen area upstairs that had ice cream bars, a variety of drinks, and biscotti. This was a very nice extra to have when you get the munchies late at night or need something to drink.

Although the ambience of the Boyden House was very nice and what you would expect from a bed and breakfast the room was extremely small / bathroom shower and amenities were below average. Would not have booked this location if I had seen the room / bath prior to booking.

We've stayed 3 times, a new room each time. This time we chose the Executive Suite. It's upstairs and is very spacious with a huge gas fireplace right in front of the comfy king size bed. It's an old house so note a few things - the bathtub is not the jetted tub that comes in the Honeymoon or Cabaret suites. Just a bathtub and unfortunately not enough hot water to fill it in the tank (bummer). Breakfast was great and they accommodated my gluten free needs well. We absolutely love this house, the woodwork in that home will make your jaw drop; there'a kitchen stocked with coffee, popcorn, and klondike bars too. A great value in beautiful Grand Haven. We'll be back.

In comparison to other B & B stays we have had, this was the most comfortable. Rooms were especially cozy and nicely appointed. Guests were congenial, and the manager was very accommodating.

The Boyden House was like a home away from home. The lovely home was such a treat to visit and I felt very welcome and taken care of. Shelly was a gracious hostess and so helpful to all the guests.

This was our first time staying at a B&B and we didnt know what to really expect, but it was fantastic! I was worried about privacy and whether or not it would be awkward being in someones house in a sense, but neither of those were issues! Everyone was friendly and kept to themselves, Tony & Gail were reachable if needed, other than that we only saw them at breakfast for the most part. The house was really nice. Our room was on the smaller side, but i knew that when booking that i had gotten the smallest of rooms. It had a balcony off the room which was awesome, unfortunately, it was chilly when we visited so it wasnt utilized like we would have wanted to. The bathroom was spacious, the tub/shower was pretty small though and my boyfriend is pretty tall, so it was a little tough, but definitely manageable! The breakfasts were amazing!! A nice assortment of good, home-cooked meals. We had come to Grand Haven to get away that weekend as it was supposed to be our son's due date and we lost him a couple months before. A few friends had wanted to do something nice for us while we were there so a couple of them contacted the Boyden House for suggestions and they were awesome about suggesting ideas and helping execute getting the gifts to us during our stay. It was very sweet of them to help with ideas and make sure it all went off without a hitch. We really loved our stay and weekend in Grand Haven at the Boyden House. We would recommend staying here for a nice relaxing weekend, with amazing breakfasts and great hosts! :)

We enjoyed our stay, once again, at the Boyfrn House B&B! We were sad to find out that they are in the process of selling; however, they assured us the next owners will be just as great! ;) We'll have to come back and find out for ourselves :)) As always, great rooms for a great price and most excellent service and an outstanding breakfast!!
