This was the best B&B we've ever had the pleasure of staying. David and Jim and their 'staff' are outstanding. We felt like this was home. David is a magnificent chef/baker -- breakfasts were out of this world, and Jim is so personable from registration to check-out and all points in between. Everyone was so helpful with directions, places to visit, etc. -- absolutely a delight! Thank you David and Jim for a lovely stay and weekend.

Excellent B&B

We stayed in August of 2015; Gorgeous property, exceptionally clean and well cared for, abundant and delicious breakfasts served all-you-can-eat family style, with conscientious hosts and staff. The hosts say they are well traveled B&B guests, so they know what you'd want in a B&B stay, and they are right. Close to Torch lake and within 30 min of Traverse City, Charlevoix, etc (Not to mention Shorts Brewery in Bellaire). They accommodated special diets, are "foodies" themselves and Jim is a master gardener! We can't wait to go back.

We had a lovely visit at Bellaire B&B in a beatifully restored Victorian era home. We enjoyed visiting with other guests. We picked up some ideas while walking the gardens. Our room was spacious with a comfortable queen size bed. Bathrooms were spotless. The gourmet breakfasts were a feast, served family-style. Breads and pastries were baked fresh every day. Special thanks to David for working with us and adjusting the menu to accomodate our food allergies.

Absolutely charming.

Perfect 2 nights on our trip round Lake Michigan

Shangri-La in Northern Michigan

We arrived late afternoon on a Saturday and had only 10 minutes for check in before we went to church. The staff went out of their way to flex with our schedule and even had 2 place settings available for some re-heated leftovers we brought in our cooler. The Brighton room was decorated with great attention to detail. The claw foot tub was great for a relaxing late night soak and the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast with stuffed french toast and fresh berries with orange balsamic vinegar was delicious.

Awesome stay, as usual

We stay at the Bellaire B&B every time we come to Bellaire. The rooms are comfy and inviting, Dave and Jim along with their staff are divine hosts! Breakfast is always delightful and they accommodate all sorts of food restrictions. We love visiting the B&B and will continue to for all our visits to Bellaire!

You will not find a better B&B in Michigan

Bellaire B&B is outstanding. Very professionally run and managed. Friendly and informative hosts and staff. Outstanding peace and quiet. Rooms are beautiful and home and outdoor amenities are top notch. There is a wine and cheese time in the afternoon and the breakfast is gourmet and of outstanding quality. The owners obviously take pride in what they do and they do it very well. We will be returning in the future to Bellaire B&B as we found it to be of exceptional quality and value. Five stars is an understatement.
