This was the first time my husband and I stayed at a B&B, we loved it. The place was absolutely adorable with so much character. I would recommend this place to everyone who is headed to Ann Arbor Michigan, oh and the French toast for breakfast is a must

She gave us our choice of rooms, which was very nice. Breakfast was fine, not too fancy and we had a selection of foods to choose from. However, if you are not a dog lover, you may not appreciate the sweet lab that follows you to the breakfast table and wants to be petted...and or given some food.
Sadie is our rescue lab mix and she is a sweet heart. Many of the guests insist she join them at breakfast. We don't encourage feeding her at the table though. And there are some people that are uncomfortable around dogs so we keep her out when even one guest is not happy with that (or on really busy days). So please let us know if you don't want the dog around. We understand.

The Stone Chalet was a nice, charming place to stay for the weekend. It was cozy, welcoming, and we would stay there again!

We recently stayed at The Stone Chalet and found it to be just okay. Our room was right by the parsonage exit and was very noisy at night, making it difficult to sleep. We found the claw foot tub in Ada's room to be one of the draws to staying in that room, yet when trying to put it into use, the stream of water from the faucet was just more than a trickle, how you fill up a tub that size that way, we had no clue. Also, the parking on the side street is not that great, especially with snow. The area is very nice and only a few minutes from all the attractions of downtown Ann Arbor, but I wish in the end we had stayed somewhere else.
Upon arrival we ask all guests to please let us know if there is anything we can do for them at any time and we mean it. Sometime things stop working properly and we always fix them asap. The tub had a bit of sediment in the hot water side which was fixed in 15 minutes, once we found out. We're sorry you were not able to use the tub during your stay.
