We recently stayed at The Stone Chalet and found it to be just okay. Our room was right by the parsonage exit and was very noisy at night, making it difficult to sleep. We found the claw foot tub in Ada's room to be one of the draws to staying in that room, yet when trying to put it into use, the stream of water from the faucet was just more than a trickle, how you fill up a tub that size that way, we had no clue. Also, the parking on the side street is not that great, especially with snow. The area is very nice and only a few minutes from all the attractions of downtown Ann Arbor, but I wish in the end we had stayed somewhere else.

A very lovely place to stay. Excellent facilities and great location. Rooms were quiet, clean and spacious. First visit to a B&B so an excellent first experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

I loved my stay. Rooms were cozy and very clean. Owners were very hospitable and went the extra mile to make sure we had a good stay. This was my first bed and breakfast I stayed at, and it really set the bar. Would go back again no question.

We had an event in Ann Arbor and planned to stay overnight. Although we could have booked a typical hotel, we decided to try to Stone Chalet because it had a nice feel to it. The hosts were pleasant, breakfast was excellent, and the 3 rooms that we rented were clean and cozy. The location is a short drive from the downtown area so it is geographically convenient.

We stayed in the Garden Room and really enjoyed our stay with the new owners. The former owner didn't seem well prepared when she emailed to tell us a day after we booked that she was double-booked (6 months in advance). We were questionable about staying because of her and yet we were very glad we did. Our daughter visited and was quite impressed with the 22,000 sq ft building/home too. The only thing to remember...your own hairdryer, body wash, and shampoo. We were also impressed that we had a menu the night before to make choices for breakfast the following morning.
