It was great to stay somewhere a little more cozy!

This was the first time my husband and I stayed at a B&B, we loved it. The place was absolutely adorable with so much character. I would recommend this place to everyone who is headed to Ann Arbor Michigan, oh and the French toast for breakfast is a must

She gave us our choice of rooms, which was very nice. Breakfast was fine, not too fancy and we had a selection of foods to choose from. However, if you are not a dog lover, you may not appreciate the sweet lab that follows you to the breakfast table and wants to be petted...and or given some food.
Sadie is our rescue lab mix and she is a sweet heart. Many of the guests insist she join them at breakfast. We don't encourage feeding her at the table though. And there are some people that are uncomfortable around dogs so we keep her out when even one guest is not happy with that (or on really busy days). So please let us know if you don't want the dog around. We understand.

The Stone Chalet was a nice, charming place to stay for the weekend. It was cozy, welcoming, and we would stay there again!

We recently stayed at The Stone Chalet and found it to be just okay. Our room was right by the parsonage exit and was very noisy at night, making it difficult to sleep. We found the claw foot tub in Ada's room to be one of the draws to staying in that room, yet when trying to put it into use, the stream of water from the faucet was just more than a trickle, how you fill up a tub that size that way, we had no clue. Also, the parking on the side street is not that great, especially with snow. The area is very nice and only a few minutes from all the attractions of downtown Ann Arbor, but I wish in the end we had stayed somewhere else.
Upon arrival we ask all guests to please let us know if there is anything we can do for them at any time and we mean it. Sometime things stop working properly and we always fix them asap. The tub had a bit of sediment in the hot water side which was fixed in 15 minutes, once we found out. We're sorry you were not able to use the tub during your stay.

A very lovely place to stay. Excellent facilities and great location. Rooms were quiet, clean and spacious. First visit to a B&B so an excellent first experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

I loved my stay. Rooms were cozy and very clean. Owners were very hospitable and went the extra mile to make sure we had a good stay. This was my first bed and breakfast I stayed at, and it really set the bar. Would go back again no question.

We had an event in Ann Arbor and planned to stay overnight. Although we could have booked a typical hotel, we decided to try to Stone Chalet because it had a nice feel to it. The hosts were pleasant, breakfast was excellent, and the 3 rooms that we rented were clean and cozy. The location is a short drive from the downtown area so it is geographically convenient.

We stayed in the Garden Room and really enjoyed our stay with the new owners. The former owner didn't seem well prepared when she emailed to tell us a day after we booked that she was double-booked (6 months in advance). We were questionable about staying because of her and yet we were very glad we did. Our daughter visited and was quite impressed with the 22,000 sq ft building/home too. The only thing to remember...your own hairdryer, body wash, and shampoo. We were also impressed that we had a menu the night before to make choices for breakfast the following morning.
Just to let everyone know, we have plenty of hair dryers, ironing boards etc in the linen closet. We keep them there so they don't clutter up the rooms but just ask us for what ever you need. Also we do now supply shampoo, conditioner and soap in small sizes and they are fresh for each guest. Let us know if you need anything. We're happy to help.

My husband and I wanted a quick get away not to far from home and somewhere with options for dining and entertainment. It was pretty short notice but the Stone Chalet had space. We have stayed at other B&Bs and I was very impressed with the room and the overall building. Everything was clean and neat and the location was interesting. It is on a main road but from the room and grounds you would never know it. It is also within walking distance of some local attractions. The owners are still working out the kinks so that is why I rated service at Met my expectations. Overall we had a very nice visit and we would go back.
