Los Arcos is the perfect setting to experience the romantic charm of old Mexico. We offer eight individually decorated rooms and two suites, all with private baths. Sleep like a baby on luxurious pillow top queen beds covered with beautiful and comfortable bedding. Air conditioning and heat allow our guests to relax in comfort. Private baths are decorated with authentic Mexican Talavera tile and Talavera sinks.

Amenities include: Wi-Fi, coffee shop, gift shop, intimate interior courtyard, covered patio with fireplace, off street parking and massage is available.

    From Tucson, Arizona drive south to Nogales, Mexico on highway 19. Continue south on Mexico highway 15 to Magdelena. After the toll booth at Magdelena, turn off 15 at the first exit to your right, approximately 500 feet. Turn left to Sinoquepe. Turn right at the stop sign at Sinoquepe.

    Enjoy a lazy afternoon in our interior courtyard.An antique, hand carved statue of St. George greets guests in the entrada of Hotel Los Arcos.
    Authentic Mexican Talavera tile are in all the showers at Hotel Los Arcos.Hand made clavos adorn each exterior pine door to the ten guest rooms.
    View of the arches(arcos) and the sky on the second floor.  There are arches everywhere, thus the name Los Arcos.The local Catholic church, Eglesia de Loreto, is located on the Plaza de Armes in Banamichi.
    Local folk dancers entertain during various Mexican festivals.At the center of the Plaza de Armes in Banamichi is a gazebo.  It is used during festivals and other important events.
    At the entrance of town, visitors are welcomed by Banamichi's town seal.  Most Mexican towns display a seal at their entrance.Statues of four Opato Indios hold up a large stone, Piedra Historica, an ancient petroglyph which scholars believe represents an irrigation map.
    All guest rooms at Los Arcos, have Mexican female names.  Room 2, Beatriz, offers guests two comfortable pillow top queen beds, a seating area and a private bath.  Hotel Los Arcos offers four rooms with two queen beds.Room 4, Delfina, offers guests a comfortable nights sleep on a queen pillow top mattress and a private bath.
    Room 5, Elena, is my favorite retreat.  Muy romantico.  Queen pillow top bed with luxurious bedding, and of course, a private bath.  Nothing but the best at Hotel Los Arcos.The covered patio offers guests a shady retreat during the day.  The wood burning fireplace provides a romantic atmosphere in the chilly months to enjoy a cervesa, a glass of wine, a cup of coffee and chat with friends.
    The covered patio is part of the original 100 year old adobe building.  Newly renovated with the addition of the Mexican style chiminea, the patio offers guests a quiet place to hang.
On chilly nights, mesquite is burned for a warm, cozy fire.Room 1, Amara, features two pillow top queen beds, a seating area and private bath.  All rooms at Los Arcos face the interior courtyard.
    Banamichi is a quiet little pueblo, located on the Rio Sonora in Northern Sonora.  This photo was taken a few miles north of town.All bathrooms at Los Arcos are decorated with authentic Mexican Talavera tile and Talavera sinks with hand crafted mesquite vanities.
    The interior courtyard at Los Arcos features a cascada designed by the owner, Tom Matthews.Los Arcos owners, Tom and Lynn, live on the property in a small apartment that was originally a part of the house next door.
    A Talavera tile mosaic adorns the wall to the stairs designed by a local artisan.Bougainvilleas line the courtyard at Los Arcos adding an explosion of color year round.
