This was our first visit to Maine and we are already planning a return visit. The Holiday Guest House was a wondrous experience from the moment we arrived to the moment we hugged the owners upon our exit. The room was beautiful, and the afternoon cookies and morning breakfast were delicious beyond belief. An ideal visit to an idyllic locale,

We stayed 5 nights. Perfect New England B&B! Exceptionally clean, great location, hosts Bill & Michael were wonderful! Helpful, not overbearing, fun to chat with and excellent knowledge of the area's restaurants, shops and attractions. Definitely recommend to couples for that perfect weekend in Southern Maine. Excellent breakfast everyday in a lovely sun porch. 5 stars...5 diamonds..whatever you call it, worth every penny!!!!

The rooms were great and beautifully decorated. The hosts were happy, energetic, and great to be around. The titanic music was great with morning breakfast. Overall, outstanding and I would recommend it to everyone.

The Roosevelt Room
The Roosevelt Room is located on the first floor of the Bed and Breakfast. First lady Eleanor Roosevelt stayed as a guest in this room in 1947. It has a Queen size four poster bed that has luxurious bedding by J. Queen on it. The rest of the room is furnished with two wing back chairs, a setee, an antique English armoire and a cherry high boy and dresser. The mantle on the Rumford fireplace is decorated with Lenox figurines. There is a Private Bathroom with a full tub and shower, a flat screen CCTV, a/c, ceiling fan, free wireless Internet and a Mini-Fridge.

The Littlefield Room is spacious and is located on the second floor of the Bed and Breakfast. It was named after the builder of the house, Nathanial Littlefield. It has five windows to let the sea breeze in and a King size bed that has a back supporting mattress and luxurious bedding by Croscill on it. The rest of the furnishings in the room are antique. There is a sitting area, a Private Bath with a walk-in shower, CCTV, a/c, ceiling fan, Free Wireless Internet and a Mini- Fridge.

From 95 South take exit 7, (formerly exit 4) York/Ogunquit. At the end of the exit take a left hand turn at the light on to route 1 north. Follow route 1 north for approximately 9 miles and Holiday Guest House is located on the left in Wells, in the Moody section on the Ogunquit line. From route 95 North take exit 19, (formerly exit 2) Wells. Come out of the toll area and turn left at the stop light. Turn right at the next light that's route 1 south. Follow route 1 south for about 3 miles and we are located on the right hand side at 68 Post Rd. (route 1) in Moody on the Ogunquit line..
