    Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this elegant Inn was built in 1874 by Captain Nickels as a gift to his bride. Completely restored and updated, contains 8 guest rooms - all with private baths, flat-screen TVs, WiFi, wine and cheese in the evening and a 3-course breakfast. Some suites with balcony, jacuzzi, fire places, and kitchenettes. Common rooms include parlors, library, lounge with real wood fires, breakfast room and beautiful gardens extending to the Penobscot Bay. On premisis fine-dining restaurant, tapas bar, with outside deck overlooking the sea.
