Ripples was the perfect choice for our weeklong stay in Maine. The location was convenient - sandwiched between many of the towns we wanted to see. The service was incredible. The innkeeper was friendly, prepared fulfilling and satisfying breakfasts, and accommodated all our needs. We especially enjoyed our morning discussions and valued her perspectives. Our room was not entirely private (right next to the front door) but it was clean and provided enough room for the two of us. Would stay again if the opportunity presented itself!

We spent three nights here on a recent trip through mid-coast and down-east Maine. The common areas are welcoming, the breakfasts were yummy and filling, the hostess was entertaining and down-to-earth. Best of all, the Inn has a special greeter: Isabella (shhh---she doesn't know she's a dog). We loved seeing Isabella every morning at breakfast and every evening when we returned. The innkeeper was very responsive to our needs; the service felt personal. Only thing that could be better: more space for our clothes.
