We could not have had a better experience at the West End Inn. Deb and Scott were welcoming and accommodating all throughout our stay, from serving my boyfriend an early breakfast each morning before he left for work to preparing delicious vegan breakfasts for me. Scott is a fabulous cook and they've both made the inn extremely cozy and relaxed. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Portland! The room and bath were lovely, and our hostess was gracious and very welcoming. At $225.00/ night I thought it was about $75.00 overpriced, esp since it is about a mile walk to the center of all the restaurants and activities, ie not quite as central as I had thought.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful inn. It was a welcome and relaxing retreat. We look forward to visiting again! Sara, the innkeeper, was very accommodating of my food allergies, and provided thoughtful breakfast options.

We stayed at the West End Inn bed and breakfast with friends and found the host to be warm and engaging. Great restaurant and tour recommendations. Delicious breakfasts and I even saw how the Innkeeper accommodated another guest's food requests at the last minute. Very clean Inn and nice walking neighborhood with awesome architecture. We walked to a great, casual restaurant and would enjoy dining at Caiola's again on our next stay at West End Inn. Highly recommend a stay at West End Inn in the fabulous city of Portland, ME.
