My wife and I had to go to Maine for a funeral. It was not April 15 so most of the hotels and motels we knew about were still closed for the season. We found the Tipsy Butler on the web and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The hostess name is Sarah and she will tend to all your needs. There are 4 rooms are they are all spacious and wonderfully decorated. There is a very nice sitting room for reading or listening to music. Breakfast was a real treat and there is coffee, tea, soda and refreshments 24 hours a day. It was a great experience and we will one day real soon return. Rich and Judi

Most charming hostess I have ever encountered, and the hotel is impeccably-kept. Guests' needs, both commonplace and individual, are anticipated and tended to with easy swiftness. Never felt more pleased with our lodgings. The rooms are spacious and gorgeous; the beds, a sea of perfect comfort. There is the charm of a small coastal town, the elegance of a beautifully restored mansion, the tranquility of natural outdoor beauty streaming in through the giant windows, and the friendly atmosphere in the drawing and dining rooms. We were passing thru for a night and stayed a week - and will DEFNINITELY be back. Found lots to do around the area, too.
