The Spouter Inn was by far our most enjoyable B & B stay. While the amenities were all 5 star it was the hospitality of the hosts, Catherine and Paul that made the stay most memorable.

Wow! We were so delighted with our three-night stay at The Spouter Inn. We were away from the crowds in Camden yet only a very short distance drive down the coastline to visit Camden and Rockport. The owners of the inn, Paul and Catherine, are very gracious and made us feel right at home. The inn is kept immaculately clean, the furnishings lovely, the grounds well attended, the rooms nicely appointed with comfortable pillows and beds, PLUS outstanding breakfasts with lots of delicious choices including the time you want to eat. We met other nice traveling folks who expressed the same opinion as us -- We were glad we selected The Spouter Inn! We would return in a heartbeat.

The perfect place to relax and take in all the beauty of the Maine coast. Centrally located and convenient to everything from Rockport, Camden to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The innkeepers attention to detail and knowledge of the area was like having a personal tour guide.

This family run business has really met our expectations. The whole Inn is spotless, very clean. Our room was large and very comfortable with good furniture and expectational king-size bed. Every morning the breakfast is made with care by Paul and the overall service is the way it should be: It is there when you need it, when you don't they do not push it. High recommended in a beautiful state to explore.

The house is very attractive and well kept. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent with a wide range of choices. You get to order exactly what want each morning. There is a range of prices for the rooms. We were well satisfied staying in the smallest and least expensive room which had a great ocean view. There is a fair amount of traffic on Route 1 during the day, but it was not heavy at night. It was great to have a public beach only yards from the front door and good restaurants within walking distance. It's nicer staying in this little village than in crowded Camden.
