The Maine Stay Inn offers luxurious accommodations in the historic coastal Maine community of Kennebunkport. The Main House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, provides updated styling and modern amenities in a stately Victorian home. The Cottage Suites, offering added space and privacy, range in style from updated traditional to 21st century modern, and these guests may choose to enjoy breakfast delivered to their door or dine in our main dining room. All guests enjoy a multi-course gourmet breakfast daily, afternoon tea and snacks, and complimentary Wi-Fi. All accommodations have en-suite baths (some with whirlpool tubs and heated floors), flat screen TVs, and many feature gas fireplaces. The main house and five cottage-style buildings surround expansive lawns and gardens, with hammocks and Adirondack chairs for your relaxation and enjoyment. Stroll tree-lined streets to fine shops, restaurants and art galleries of Kennebunkport's Dock Square. The scenic harbor is just a block away, while you'll find sandy beaches just a mile from the inn.

We enjoyed our stay for Valentines weekend. The owners were wonderful. The cottages were convenient, private and exceeded expectations. Can't wait to go back.

Spent a cold, wintry weekend here in cottage #4. Clean, modern, well stocked, cozy warm with a fireplace and top notch facility! Service could not have been better - breakfast delivered to our door promptly at our requested time, excellent food, and friendly, helpful staff! So many things to do within minutes of the Inn. Thank you for a much needed getaway. We will be back!

A beautiful inn with great food. Rooms are perfect. It's family run, and some family members are friendly and chatty, others not so much, but it's all part of the experience, and we had a wonderful stay. I would certainly recommend it and I would definitely go back!

I highly recommend the Maine Stay Inn! My husband and I have been there twice and are already planning next year's trip!
"Outstanding" from a repeat guest means a great deal to us. Thank you so much for your kind words. See you next time, maybe when the warm weather is back.

My wife and I stayed at The Maine Stay recently and we really enjoyed our visit. Our room was exactly what we wanted and was clean as could be. Breakfast was excellent, although I'd prefer to have breakfast earlier than 9PM. Hosts were outstanding, especially Walt, who has a fantastic personality.
We offer 4 seatings for breakfast except during our quiet season. I am not sure what unit this guest stayed in, but in 13 of our 17 rooms we offer a delivery at 9 or 10 and a seating in the dining room at 8:30 or 9:30AM. On a super quiet morning 1 seating seems to be the practical choice and 9:00 seems be the time most of my guests desire. For guests that wish to eat early we always offer a cold self-serve breakfast option. I am sorry if this guest was not aware of that option.

The innkeepers, Judy and Walter, are very friendly and make you feel right at home. The breakfast is fantastic. We were there for Christmas Prelude and the inn is within walking distance to town but far enough to not be in the thick of it. Would highly recommend staying here.

One of our favorite past times is enjoying a walk on the Maine Coast. There are lots of incredible nature preserves with almost limitless miles of trails in the area. Such a treat!
