The Harpswell Inn is a historical landmark Bed & Breakfast located on one of Maine’s famous “finger” peninsulas. Situated upon Lookout Point, the Inn provides a stunning view of Maine’s natural beauty, including the magnificent sunsets over Middle Bay and the quiet cove below, which serves as a harbor for lobster boats. Guests of the Inn awake to the smell of salt air mingled with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a hearty breakfast. This B & B is on a gorgeous property with great views of the water! Our room was spectacular, very large, and with a huge bathroom. The owners obviously know what travelers want because they had all the amenities one would need. The owner is a chef who prepares delicious breakfasts! We thought the place was simply wonderful and hope to get back there soon.

We might as well as slept on the wood floor. This place was built over 200 years ago and the matresses must have been made that same year. They seem to have become petrified. Richard (the owner) did not go out of his way to be friendly. He pretty much kept to himself and acted like we were a hassle when we needed something. The breakfast was pathetic. Reheated hashbrown casserole and sausage patties heated in the microwave. The location is very nice but that is about all I have good to say about the place.
