This is our 2nd stay at this lovely inn and we continue to be impressed. The inn keeper indulges guests with wonderful breakfasts and creature comforts. If you don't want to go out exploring, you could happily take advantage of a lovely fire in the sitting room and just read your book or one of the many books available from the bookshelf. Cross country skiing is a short drive away and we took a lovely walk in the snow through the inn's backyard. We plan to return again in the future.

This is our second time staying with Margaret for MLK weekend to cross country ski up in Jackson. Once again the house was completely charming. She made sure the fire was raging in the living room for our return from the slopes, and cooked up a great breakfast of eggs, bacon, cinnamon buns and fruit. We'll be back up there soon.

My husband and I decided to go to Fryeburg, Maine for our honeymoon and were thoroughly delighted when we found Main Street Bed & Breakfast online. Upon our arrival, we found that it was even better than it appeared online! Margaret gave us WONDERFUL recommendations as to where to go, etc. Anytime we needed any information or wanted anything, she was quick to provide us as best as she could (which was ALWAYS above and beyond what our expectations were). We felt very much at home at the bed and breakfast, yet we felt very pampered! Breakfast was ALWAYS delicious, on time (we picked which time slot, and BEAUTIFULLY prepared! If you're looking for a delightful place to stay in Fryeburg, Maine, then Main Street Bed & Breakfast is for you! We were delighted to realize that it only took about 10 minutes to get to North Conway, NH. It's just far enough away to feel out of the busy area, yet close enough to go to North Conway for dining, shopping, etc. My husband and I definitely plan on going back! Thank-you, Margaret for making our stay delightful and memorable!

Greeting me with a cold juice drink and a bowl of fresh cherries the innkeeper joined me on the back porch while we savored the warm summer afternoon air and the view of the mountains. I had a wonderfully cozy little room in the back part of the upstairs and slept far longer than I normally do when on the road. A delicious breakfast with great coffee, fruit and eggs, along with pleasant conversation got the morning going right.

We have styed here twice. Both times we had the primrose room. It's absolutely gorgeous. It's a nice old house, with a gorgeous rooms, a wonderful view, and an amazing hostess. She's always warm and inviting and makes you feel welcome every time. Hoping to make it back again soon.
