We recently stayed 3 nights at this b&b. The inn was very nice, room was clean, the breakfasts were delicious and the innkeepers were spectacular. Mark and Nancy were hospitable, helpful, and a joy to be around. The inn is within walking distance of downtown Freeport and a short car ride away from many other things to do. We would highly recommend this inn to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast menu is decided by property, not agreed before.
We are sorry that you felt our menu choice at our Bed and Breakfast was not adequate. We make every effort to make sure that different dietary needs are met such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. As our website states, will provide an alternate of eggs or french toast to children or anyone who prefers it to our daily menu.

Kendall Tavern was most pleasant. Rates were reasonable. It is well positioned for walking to everything Freeport has to offer.
Thank you for taking the time to review our B&B. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay.

This was my first experience staying at a B&B, and it was wonderful. It was like staying at the home of a family member. The innkeepers were friendly and their suggestions for dinner were perfect. The breakfasts were delicious. The accommodations clean and comfortable. We will be coming back. Gary & Theresa.
Thank you Gary & Theresa for taking the time for this review. We really enjoyed your stay, and hope that you will be back soon!

Arrived at he Kendall Tavern and found new owners Mark and Nancy of 14 weeks. Thy have fallin right into the B&B business. Mark is a natural talker and host. Nancy is the sweetest and great cook! They will do great and we will be back. Spent time at Maine Boats Homes and Harbor show, Boothbay Harbor and of course Freeport and Harraseeket Lobster Pound. The Kendall was our visiting centerpiece. Thad and Laurie Manteo NC

My wife and I stayed at this charming B&B recently and had a wonderful experience! It is just up the road from the commercial district (LLBean, etc.) in Freeport. It's far enough away that you don't feel the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough you can walk. The proprietors were extremely friendly and gave us a great dinner recommendation. The breakfast was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. If we visit Freeport again, this will definitely be our place to stay!
Thanks for your review! It makes us happy when we can recommend great restaurants and help guests to enjoy their stay. Glad you liked the breakfast!

We were driving through Freeport for a one-night stay. The Kendall Tavern B&B is in a beautiful home. The hosts are super-friendly, interesting, fun to talk to, and attentive. The location is ideal -- far enough away from downtown to be quiet, close enough to get there quickly on foot.
Glad you found us! Thank you for taking the time to review our B&B.

My daughter and I stayed here for four nights. What a treat!! Nancy and Mark are wonderful, attentive hosts. The room was clean and well arranged. Each room also has it's own full bathroom. Every morning we were awakened by the aroma of the spectacular breakfasts. They were really spectacular. Every evening , Nancy would bake some type of cookie or pastry and put it out in the common room for all. one night while I was sitting on the front porch a hummingbird came to feed on the hanging flower basket. The Inn is close enough to the shops in freeport for easy access but far enough away that you didn't realize they were soo close. I highly recommend this place. we plan to stay here again on our next trip to Maine.
