Arrived at he Kendall Tavern and found new owners Mark and Nancy of 14 weeks. Thy have fallin right into the B&B business. Mark is a natural talker and host. Nancy is the sweetest and great cook! They will do great and we will be back. Spent time at Maine Boats Homes and Harbor show, Boothbay Harbor and of course Freeport and Harraseeket Lobster Pound. The Kendall was our visiting centerpiece. Thad and Laurie Manteo NC

My wife and I stayed at this charming B&B recently and had a wonderful experience! It is just up the road from the commercial district (LLBean, etc.) in Freeport. It's far enough away that you don't feel the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough you can walk. The proprietors were extremely friendly and gave us a great dinner recommendation. The breakfast was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. If we visit Freeport again, this will definitely be our place to stay!

We were driving through Freeport for a one-night stay. The Kendall Tavern B&B is in a beautiful home. The hosts are super-friendly, interesting, fun to talk to, and attentive. The location is ideal -- far enough away from downtown to be quiet, close enough to get there quickly on foot.

My daughter and I stayed here for four nights. What a treat!! Nancy and Mark are wonderful, attentive hosts. The room was clean and well arranged. Each room also has it's own full bathroom. Every morning we were awakened by the aroma of the spectacular breakfasts. They were really spectacular. Every evening , Nancy would bake some type of cookie or pastry and put it out in the common room for all. one night while I was sitting on the front porch a hummingbird came to feed on the hanging flower basket. The Inn is close enough to the shops in freeport for easy access but far enough away that you didn't realize they were soo close. I highly recommend this place. we plan to stay here again on our next trip to Maine.

We had a great night on Saturday, 7/19. The Inn was very full with many events going on in the area, but the Inn was quiet and peaceful. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and the innkeepers were incredibly friendly and kind. We will definitely be back!

I had the pleasure of staying two nights, three days at the Kendall Tavern Inn in Feeport ME. From the moment I stepped through the front door I felt an instant sense of comfort and charm. The Inn was clean, we'll decorated and the rooms where all so charming...I was given the full tour. As a single person traveling alone I was made so at home. Nancy's culinary talents provided me with a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit cup, bacon and the BEST blueberry pancakes. And Marks's whit and knowledge made for great conversations. Coffee on the front porch on the morning was peaceful and my room was comfortable. I had the best night sleeps. Thank you to Nancy and Mark for a memorable experience...I will certainly be back...and tell my friends to visit
