Upon arrival, we were met by a pushy innkeeper who proceeded to take us to our room and list off numerous rules. He later entered our room while we were out and unplugged our space heater! The space heater was needed because the heat in parts of... read more

Innkeeper Response
We appreciate everyones patience as we remedy the heating situation right now. We can certainly keep you warm through the evening and night. We are making a major investment in a brand new heating system with every guest room with its own thermostat for total guest comfort and the plan is for that to be fully working by the end of November. Both Judith and myself can assure you that the comfort of our guests is always our number 1 priority here at the Brewster Inn and we like to think that the vast majority of positive reviews we've received will really show you that we look after all our guests very well.

The Brewster Inn was clean and comfortable. It is not in an especially attractive neighborhood and the grounds need a lot of work to look as nice as in their pictures. The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment.

The Beckford (Rose), Queen bed and tub/shower. This was one of Brewsters childrens bedrooms.

Rich shades of green and traditional english style furnishings set the mood for the newly decorated Beckford guestroom. (formerly the Rose Room)

Looking out over the gardens makes for cheerful mornings. This mid-size room is furnished with a comfortable queen size bed.

A large television stands in one corner and can be enjoyed from the comfort of the bed or the lady's side chair. A 4 drawer dresser provides ample storage.

The spacious private bath features a tub with shower.
The Charlbury (Blueberry) room. This was one of the maids bedrooms and comes with a queen bed and tub and shower. Its a very quiet and peaceful room.

Quiet and comfortable with leafy views!

Our guests will enjoy the newly decorated Charlbury guestroom. (Formerly The Blueberry Room) with its calming shades of blue and brown. (This room was once used as the maids quarters.) The French provincial queen size bed and antique dresser will delight those who adore shabby Chic furnishings.

Relax in the comfortable bold striped chair; great for catching up on reading or enjoying a movie on the television.

There is a large sink and vanity unit in one corner of the main room and a private bathroom with tub and shower.
The very large whirlpool in the Honeymoon Suite. The Honeymoon Suite is what was Brewsters lawyers office and is a big wood paneled room with plenty of comfy seating, a fireplace and a 2nd bedroom within.

A splendid, rustic yet elegant, three room suite! Perfect for a romantic honeymoon, anniversary, bride's retreat or other special getaway.

The spacious main room has a queen size canopy bed and a large sitting area with sofa and cozy gas log fireplace. Enjoy the warm ambience of natural wood paneling and pretty window seat with stained glass window. A large book case (filled with books) adorns an entire wall while a nostalgic cheval mirror stands in the corner.

Curl up in front of the fireplace with a good book, or watch a movie on the adjacent television. A small sitting room with double futon offers extra space for additional guests. The private bath has a shower stall plus whirlpool tub for two.
The main living room. A very large area for reading, conversation and get-togethers
2 acres of gardens and terraces where we hold weddings for up to 200 people The Game room. This was Brewsters "big game" room where he had numerous animal heads on the walls as well as being his games room. The room is large and wood paneled with a king bed and a 3/4 bed too. There is also a fireplace and plenty of comfy seating

You'll feel like you're spending the night in a Swiss chalet!

Truly a grand room with king size bed and comfortable seating in front of the cozy fireplace. Our family inspired Game Room delights guests of all ages with its generous size and rustic charm.

The table seats four and works well for games, late night snacking or morning coffee. Extra guests and/or children are accommodated with a comfy antique 3/4 iron bed.

The private ensuite bathroom has a shower.
