The smallest of our accommodations and tucked in the middle of the second floor of the main house, the E.B. White Room pampers you with soft comforts and a stunning head-on view of Penobscot Bay. The private deck is a spacious grandstand for watching the sunrise. And at night, the deck becomes the most romantic of venues when the moon is full, it lays a shining path straight to your seat on the deck. If you seek whimsy, indulge in re-reading E.B. Whites Charlotte's Web or Stuart Little, which reside in the bookcase by your bed. Decorated in simple spring green and white with coral accents.
Nightly Rate: $395/$320
Through the glass doors opening into the small private deck, you catch delicious breezes as well as a totally in your face ocean view. Settle into the cushioned glider on the deck and rock gently in time with the waves rolling against the rocks a short distance away. The décor features deep, soft red and cream colors and black and white photos by a talented local photographer and Belfast Me gallery owner, Neal Parent, well known for his photos capturing the essence of coastal Maine.
Nightly Rate: $405/$330
Decorated in soft blues and creams with a matching double Adirondack chair on the private deck, this room is graced with watercolors by a local painter whose gallery you may want to visit in nearby Rockland. The soothing comfort of this southeast corner room at our Maine coast Bed and Breakfast is enhanced by the murmur of the ocean beckoning you to relax on your deck, with nothing more arduous on the agenda than waving at the passing sailboats and leafing through the poetry and writings of May Sarton.
Nightly Rate: $415/$340
This second floor room at our Camden Maine lodging features a cathedral-style ceiling with skylight and a bow window featuring views of trees and the ocean in the distance. The Richard Russo Cottage (named after a best selling author who happens to live up the road a ways) is a spacious cottage at our romantic Maine Bed and Breakfast. It is set back from the water about 150 feet with a four poster king bed and lovely ocean and garden views. In the sitting area, the sofa is the perfect spot to lounge in front of the wood burning fireplace while you watch a full moon or the sun rise over the waters of Penobscot Bay. The room is decorated in spring greens and blues, and has limited handicap accessibility.
Nightly Rate: $510/$380
The Fitz Henry Lane Cottage is one of three premium cottages and it offers amazing proximity to the water. These accommodations and the Inn itself sit on a bluff about 25 feet above the high tide line. The long wall of windows is set back only a few feet from the edge of the bluff so you have a superb vantage point for observing the ebb and flow of the tides over the rocky shoreline.
Nightly Rate: $625/$410
The Winslow Homer Cottage is our most sought after accommodation. Intimate, secluded and adjacent to the northern boundary of the inn, this little gem has spectacular ocean views through a wall of windows facing east to the sunrise and moonrise. With a sunny yellow and white décor in casual Maine cottage style, it seems to be THE PLACE for romance and returning guests seeking the real pleasures of life at our oceanfront Maine Bed and Breakfast.
Nightly Rate: $625/$410
The largest of our three premium cottages, the Rachel Carson Cottage has been wholly renovated to ensure your complete comfort as you listen to the murmur of the waves and watch the sun and moon rise from the deck or your king bed. This is an elegant setting with a separate sitting area, and a stunning bathroom with amazing ocean views.

We recently got married at the Inn at Sunrise Point. Our experience was fantastic, from the first moment until the last. The room was gorgeous, breakfast is delicious, the wine list was excellent. Every last detail was considered and staff, without being at all intrusive, seem to come in to tidy up the cottages every time you leave the room!! I can't wait for our first anniversary, I am going back!!

Last June, my husband flew me to California for my 50th birthday and he spent money for lesser quality B&Bs. The staff here is helpful, friendly and the location is priceless for R&R. The food is extra special, too!

My husband and I eloped in 2009 and picked the Inn as our location for the ceremony. It could not have been more perfect! Daina and staff provide exceptional service without being intrusive. The Inn is absolutely beautiful and is kept with extraordinary care and detail...and you can't beat the views. We go back every chance we get and highly recommend it!

My wife and I stayed up there for a conference in Camden (about 10 minutes drive into town). Couldn't have made a better choice. The grounds are beautiful with a super view of sunrise over the bay. The rooms are cozy - we have a fireplace that helped take the edge off the fall evenings. The bed and linens were really nice. (for us, bad beds or cheap linens are a deal breaker - no issues here). The breakfasts were scrumptious and dinner recommendations were spot on. I skipped some of the conference and spent the day working in the dining room and everyone working there was a joy to be around. Some B&Bs seem to expect you to leave after breakfast and be gone, out of their hair for the day. Not here - it was sort of like a hotel in that the hospitality was a round the clock exercise. Needless to say, we'll be back. (and we can't wait)
