We were very pleased with our stay at Sunrise Point. The breakfast was superb, the view was outstanding, and our room was great.

Our stay at the Inn at Sunrise Point was absolutely wonderful! First the inn itself is breathtaking; the rooms, the common areas, the gardens, and the beach are all picture perfect. The staff was incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. The room we stayed in was extremely comfortable. We stayed in the newly renovated Wyeth Loft which was beautiful, our bed even overlooked the Atlantic Ocean! Breakfast was both beautiful and delicious every morning. I can't wait to stay at the Inn at Sunrise Point again! I would highly recommend this inn to anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to stay on the coast of Maine.

We have stayed in many B&B's, but the Inn at Sunrise Point was the best overall experience we have had. The setting is perfect, the cottage was exquisite, the food was wonderful and the service was better than we have had any place else. Daina and her staff went out of their way to make us as comfortable as possible. We did not even mind the rain. We just stayed in and built a fire. We can't wait to go back.

We recently got married at the Inn at Sunrise Point. Our experience was fantastic, from the first moment until the last. The room was gorgeous, breakfast is delicious, the wine list was excellent. Every last detail was considered and staff, without being at all intrusive, seem to come in to tidy up the cottages every time you leave the room!! I can't wait for our first anniversary, I am going back!!

Life does not get any better than life at Sunrise Point.

Last June, my husband flew me to California for my 50th birthday and he spent money for lesser quality B&Bs. The staff here is helpful, friendly and the location is priceless for R&R. The food is extra special, too!

My husband and I eloped in 2009 and picked the Inn as our location for the ceremony. It could not have been more perfect! Daina and staff provide exceptional service without being intrusive. The Inn is absolutely beautiful and is kept with extraordinary care and detail...and you can't beat the views. We go back every chance we get and highly recommend it!

My wife and I stayed up there for a conference in Camden (about 10 minutes drive into town). Couldn't have made a better choice. The grounds are beautiful with a super view of sunrise over the bay. The rooms are cozy - we have a fireplace that helped take the edge off the fall evenings. The bed and linens were really nice. (for us, bad beds or cheap linens are a deal breaker - no issues here). The breakfasts were scrumptious and dinner recommendations were spot on. I skipped some of the conference and spent the day working in the dining room and everyone working there was a joy to be around. Some B&Bs seem to expect you to leave after breakfast and be gone, out of their hair for the day. Not here - it was sort of like a hotel in that the hospitality was a round the clock exercise. Needless to say, we'll be back. (and we can't wait)
A spacious airy sitting room, large private deck, wet bar with mini fridge and microwave, gas fireplace, adjoining bedroom with 1 king bed or 2 twin beds, a full bathroom with combination shower and tub, AC, flat screen tv's in both sitting and bedroom areas, DVD/CD/iPod players. Sitting room has connecting door to enable access to Wyeth Loft or Thaxter Loft accommodations for guests travelling together.
A charming classic Maine cottage decorated in nautical blues and white, with a wood burning fireplace, water views, private deck, luxury bath with double sized jacuzzi and separate shower, and a deliciously comfortable king bed from which you can watch the sun rise. The Hopper Cottage is set back in the garden, about 150 feet from the water, but you get the best of all worlds--water and gardens and trees.
A beautiful, traditionally styled room that is a favorite of returning guests, the May Sarton Room is on the second floor of the Main House, located on the southeast corner. The room and private deck have marvellous direct views of the ocean. The queen bed is a tiger maple 4 poster bed handcrafted by Windsor Chairmakers. The room is decorated in soft blues and cream and relaxing here in front of the fireplace or in the double Adirondack chair on the deck is truly a pleasure.
Simply incredible views of the water say all our guests, and we agree. The Lane Cottage is sited close to the edge of the bluff so the waves roll in about 20 feet below the cottage, When you step over the threshold and close the door behind you feel like you are shutting out the land based world. Decorated in china blues and whiite with British plantation style mahogony furniture, you can relax in front of the fireplace or lounge on the comfy king sized bed while you watch the sea birds and sail boats pass by your wall of windows. You will hear the waves that are crashing onto the shore and on a foggy night, you'll hear the fog horns too.
The Richard Russo Cottage, named after the best selling author who lives just up the road aways, is one of the Inn's most spacious accomodations. It features a four poster king bed, a comfortable queen sleep sofa, a wood burning fireplace, and all the amenities you need for your total comfort. The room and the private deck have good water views, but are set back about 150 feet from the water, so you have garden views as well. Decorated with soft spring greens, blues and cream. This cottage is partially handicap accessible
The most sought after cottage because of the spectacular views, sunny decor and location, the Homer Cottage has it all. Woodburning fireplace, private deck, stunning ocean views through the wall of windows, king bed, luxury bath with a deep soaking tub and a rain shower, and all the luxury amenities the Inn has to offer.
A delightful corner room on the second floor of the Main House of the Inn. The E.B. White Room is the smallest room in the house, but is incredibly comfortable, cozy and has a fabulous "in your face" view of the water. Enjoy the sunrise and moonrise over the water from your private deck. Decorated in white and apple green with coral accents.
The Celia Thaxter Loft was added to the Inn in the 2014 season.
