Our visit started with a warm greeting and an upgraded room. Anita is a wonderful hostess and immediately made us feel welcome and special. Many special touches throughout the well kept inn including welcome gift of amazing Fiore Olive oil an vinegar followed by high end towels, sheets, etc. Anita's recommendations for dinner and cocktails were spot on. Easy walk to all Camden has to offer. The Maine blueberry stuffed French toast with local Maine syrup was an added surprise. Anita is a gracious innkeeper and we will definitely be back!

I love the location tucked just outside of all the downtown congestion. It is just a short walk to everywhere The minute you walk in the front door, you are home ! Anita is VERY knowledgeable of the Mid Coast area and all of the wonderful activities that Maine has to offer. Guests are offered a choice of Aged Balsamic Vinegar & Olive oil or Aged Black Cherry Vinegar & Olive oil, from the Fiore Artisan Company located in Rockland & Bar Harbor. These are just a few of the touches that make you feel special while at the Belmont Inn. Make sure you enjoy Anita's breakfast, it's over the top and if you are lucky enough she will have the Maple Jam out with her scrumptious homemade biscuits. It was so good that I bought a small jar from the little shop that is located on premises.Enjoy your stay in beautiful Camden !

We spent 4 nights at the Belmont in August, 2014. It was our 30th wedding anniversary. Everything was totally outstanding. The inn was a lovely home with beautiful gardens, tastefully appointed rooms and very convenient location to downtown. The rooms are roomy and very comfortable. Many books beckon a reader to pick them up. The breakfasts were fabulous! Anita surpassed each day's meal with the next. Lots of extra special touches were everywhere. Anita's recommendations for restaurants and excursions were right-on! We wished we could stay longer and definitely will be back.

My wife and I were touring the Maine Coast and found the Belmont Inn. It is a wonderful B&B with a delightful Innkeeper. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. We shared a fabulous breakfast with the other guests, but then it was time to leave. We would definitely come back, again.

Our 6th ? stay at the Belmont, our favorite B&B in camden. We have stayed at most B&B in town, most are on the main road, a very busy traffic flow in season. The Belmont is on a quiet side street, but a short walk to the shopping district and waterfront. Charming rooms of various sizes, all very clean. Breakfast is first rate, Anita always has a new item to serve. She went out of her way to provide a gluten free breakfast for my wife. Early coffee, rocking chair and paper on the front porch a real treat. Anita is very gracious and knowledgable on shopping and places to dine. We will most certainly return !

We recently visited and highly recommend the Belmont Inn near the bay and within the picturesque and somewhat tony village of Camden. Had a lovely, comfortable and huge room (Painted Lady) and enjoyed good breakfasts with other interesting, well traveled guests, including several repeat visitors. The wrap around Victorian porch overlooking beautiful well tended gardens was a great place to sit in the evening while nibbling on cheese and crackers with our wine. Anita is a personable and knowledgeable innkeeper.

We just concluded our second stay at the Belmont Inn and, like the first, found every aspect of it wholly enjoyable. The inn itself is charming and pleasant, from the beautiful common area and breakfast porch downstairs to the rooms themselves. We stayed in the Allen Suite (treat yourself and book the entire suite; you'll be glad you did) and found it clean, comfortable and inviting. Another noteworthy positive is the inn's location, just off busy Route 1 but within easy walking distance of all the town's restaurants, businesses and Camden harbor. But perhaps the best thing about the inn is the owner and host, Anita Zeno, who has an uncanny back for making everyone feel like a valued, longtime friend. After two enjoyable stays at the Belmont, we can't imagine staying anywhere else when we visit Camden.

We stayed here for Columbus Day Weekend this fall, and could not have been happier with the accommodations and hospitality provided by Anita and the rest of the staff at the Belmont Inn. Each day started with a delicious, locally sourced breakfast, and ended with a phenomenal dinner at one of the many top class restaurants in walking distance of the Belmont. During the day, all the wonderful things that Camden has to offer are also within an easy and enjoyable walk. We had a wonderful time as guests at the Belmont, and look forward to many happy returns.

My wife and I spent four nights at the Belmont Inn recently. Having been to Camden many times over the years this was our first stay with Anita. We stayed in the Hideaway room located on the third floor. The inn and our room were spotless and the dusting of snow we had, combined with the Christmas lights and tree, made for a festive experience. Anita was responsive and readily available and her breakfasts were excellent. The Belmont is an elegant older home located off the main street leading into town so noise is not a problem yet it is still close enough that, weather permitting, one can easily walk down to the shops and restaurants in the main part of town. We would gladly recommend this inn and innkeeper to our friends and relatives.

It was a treat to visit the Belmont Inn again. We stayed here in 2010 and left hoping to come back one day. We succeeded in doing just that staying three nights the last week in September. We love the Belmont Inn. The location is perfect for walking and exploring Camden. The Inn itself is beautiful and very comfortable. This time we stayed in the roomy Painted Lady. The best part of the Belmont Inn is Anita. She makes her guests feel welcome spending time at check-in getting to know you. Her recommendations for restaurants and things to do and see are spot on. Breakfast each day is a delight. Next time I want French toast! Again we hated to leave. Anita we hope to see you and the Belmont Inn in the not too distant future.

A California transplant, Anita has owned and operated the inn since early 2008. Depending on how you count them, this is her third career. Her work has always focused on people and now, finally, she also has work that allows her to feed people on a regular basis! A beautiful town, an historic inn, great people and wonderful food. Quite a combination!
