    Moving to Belfast.

    May 08, 2013

I was moving to Belfast and needed a place to stay for one night. We decided to splurge and stay in town at the Belfast Bay Inn. It was simply brilliant! The suite was devine, much more than we had expected. It was like brand new. The owners were extremely gracious. They even offered to bring us breakfast earlier than normal. Sue enough at 7:15 there was a knock on the door and a wonderful breakfast was served. It is truly refreshing in today's world when you actually get more than you expect.

    Wonderful anniversary treat

    April 30, 2013

A hidden treasure in downtown Belfast. Great dining recommendation from the owner, who made a reservation for us. The suite was elegant and tasteful, and the building was quiet. I've already told two people about this inn for special getaways.

    Lovely Boutique Hotel

    April 30, 2013

This was my first trip to the Belfast area. I was traveling alone to attend a conference at the hospital. I stayed 3 nights at the Belfast Bay Inn and cannot rave enough about the beautifully appointed suite that I stayed in. The hotel is situated perfectly so that you can walk to restaurants, galleries, and the waterfront area. The impeccable personal service provided by the owners, Judy and Eddie are second to none! I highly recommend staying at this hotel! ~Sarah, Indianapolis, IN

    Surprise!

    February 20, 2013

Belfast is a wonderful Coastal Maine town with lots to offer... but to find an inn that is the caliber of the Belfast Bay Inn was indeed a surprise. The rooms are gorgeous and impeccably clean. The innkeepers are cordial. Lots of great food and scenery is within walking distance. We've stayed there 3 or 4 times over the past few years, and have always come away pleased and impressed. Highly recommended!

    A winter get away.

    February 19, 2013

I wanted to take her some place special and the Belfast Bay Inn was the ticket. We'd seen the Inn during the summer when Eddie gave us a tour and we're taken back by the beauty and warmth of the place and the pride they took to building and furnishing the Inn. Ed and Judy made the visit one we'll appreciate for years to come. The're a nice and lovely couple and I'll miss them as much as the Inn itself. Thanks Tom

    Wonderful refuge in a storm

    February 11, 2013

My companion and I booked a two-night winter stay. While we were there Belfast was hit by the February 2013 nor'easter. High winds and heavy snowfall made travel impossible, so we were stranded. Ed and Judy kindly extended our stay and looked after us, making sure we had everything we needed, including sumptuous breakfasts and dinner reservations at the best restaurant in town. Other travelers have written about the Inn's wonderful rooms and luxurious furnishings, and we agree, but our most outstanding memories are of the extra efforts our hosts made for us. What could have been a grim experience was transformed into a magical one.

    King's Room

    January 26, 2013

“King's Room” I'm Polish and I live in Warsaw. I spent the night New Year's Eve 2012/2013 in BELFAST BAY INN. This hotel is a worthy recommendation because it is unique and only one in a-kind hotel. The BELFAST BAY INN has a very high standard and the owners really care about nice atmosphere. This hotel has a European standard. The rooms are very beautifully decorated with flowers and beautiful paintings. Rooms have fireplaces and warm atmosphere even when cold outside. The comfort of the bed is to be experienced. Every hotel room has a different character and differs a little. Interior of the hotel is the King's, and I felt with my boyfriend like a real Princess with the Prince. I am sure we will have to visit this hotel again soon. I heartily recommend this hotel to all tourists who appreciate luxury and peace. Room Tip: Be sure to get a room with fireplace!
