We stayed here on our 25th anniversary. Great combination of friendly/helpful host, great food, location and quality of room. We had such a great time, we gave our son a honeymoon there. We also sent friends there. All had a memorable time. We are sending another son there in June, 2012. Another honeymoon.

We had a very lovely stay at the Castlemaine Inn. We loved being able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go in downtown Bar Harbor.

We recently spent two nights in this Inn while visiting Acadia National Park. We chose the Inn for it's proximity to downtown and the price. The breakfast was our only disappointment as it is more of a continental breakfast (cereal and toast) than your standard full service dining experience that most bed and breakfasts offer. The staff was very friendly and the Inn was very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Loved it! Would go back tomorrow. Staff very friendly and helpful. convenient to downtown walking distance to most activities, charming, large room, delightful breakfast each morning.

Loved our large room and giant bathroom with jacuzzi bath. There also was a shower. Nice change from the small rooms of our last few couple of days. Nice location, nice continental breakfast. Definitely, would return to this Inn.
