We rented out the entire Inn to have our daughters sweet 16 Birthday. We are local but had relatives coming from out of town. We also wanted to treat our daughter and a few of her friends to stay at the Inn when the party was over. Our family from out of town and our daughter and her friends were very impressed with the beautiful Waystead Inn. They could not get over the beauty of the structure of the place. Chef/Owner Mark and Chef Greg made a very impressive breakfast that everyone kept raving about, even the teenagers. They also made one of their famous cakes (chocolate Black out cake) for her birthday. It was to die for. I practically had to drag everyone out of bed because no one wanted to leave the comfort of their wonderful bed. The Inn was very clean and well taken care of. It has the best of both worlds. Antiques, the beauty of original crown molding and original floors in most areas. They put a lot of TLC into restoring this old house. Bring your laptops, iPads and your modern technology if you must, because they have wifi and cable. You can control your own air or heat in each room. Bathrooms were spacious and impeccable. Or just relax, read a book and enjoy the beauty. You are in for the treat of your life with their hospitality. I overheard our daughter talking to her friends about planning her 17th Birthday Party at the Waystead Inn. Worth every penny.

We stayed for one night. The house is in a very nice setting. It is old but nicely remodeled. The accommodations are very nice and quaint.. However! It is the breakfast served by Eric that sets this place apart! It is 5-star all the way! The breakfast alone was worth the cost and stay. Give yourself a treat and try this place. You won't be disappointed.

What a wonderful girls get-a-way we had at the Waystead Bed and Breakfast...The rooms are clean, comfortable and beautiful...The decoration is simple and warm and the antiques are gorgeous and they look like they were always meant for the rooms...Eric the Innkeeper/Chef was friendly and very helpful and welcome us with fresh flowers in our rooms ...The breakfast he made for us the next morning was superb...fresh espresso with homemade pepper jelly and Croissants...Yum...Only a few minor issues...first, there was no toiletries in the bathrooms but we hunted some down and second, the Ghosts or at least the noises of the house that was unexplained...and there was allot of unexplained noises...knocking on the walls and ceiling, something that sounded like someone dragging a heavy box across the wooden floor, radio in the front living room turning on and off, what sounded like someone walking on the third floor when there was no one staying on that floor and the next morning my bed was moved about a foot away from the wall...all and all a fantastic girls weekend...

A wonderful stay, with extraordinary breakfast's! Eric is a gracious host and a most excellent chef. "Cook" would not be close to the right word. Wonderfully rehabbed home and a great location.
