Peaceful riverside escape just west of Winnipeg in historic St.Francois Xavier. We are on three acres of riverside property just minutes from the Trans-Canada Highway. "If you are travelling through Manitoba and need a great place to stay away from the hustle of the city and the noise of the highway I don't think that this place will disappoint you. It was one of the best places that we stayed at on our six week trip across the country."

My wife and I spend a night at the B&B. We absolutely love the place - it was very scenic, has a nice gazebo, hot tub, a river flowing at the back, lots of green - definitely a nice romantic getaway from the city. The town itself - St Francois Xavier - has not much to offer in terms of sights. So, definitely go there just for the B&B. Jim & Sheila were the best of hosts. They were very friendly, helpful, & available. If you're a garden type, or even if you're not, Jim would love to show you around his garden. Breakfast was really nice - we had egg omelette & asparagus, toast, homemade jam, muffins, granola - we were definitely full. All in all great B&B to go back to.
