Welcome to the classic village of Woods Hole, a place untouched by time but simultaneously at the epicenter of oceanographic research and marine biology. A sleepy town by winter and a buzzing urban setting in the summer.
At the center of it all, steps from the bay, sits the venerable Woods Hole Inn, a town institution since before the turn of the century.
From her perch over the harbor, this historic eight-bedroom Inn offers water views, a broad porch with cushioned lounges and quick access to the Martha's Vineyard ferry and the Shining Sea bike path that winds 3 miles into Falmouth center and another 8 miles from there to North Falmouth.
New owners are in the midst of an eco-friendly remodeling of this well located property. The Inn is very convenient if you miss the ferry, and includes free parking and use of inn bicycles as well as high speed internet and ipod docks. Our linens are top quality and we have had many rave reviews about our pillowtop mattresses!
Our staff will go the extra mile for you, so just ask. We can get you tickets and reservations in advance and recommend attractions and restaurants just to name a few.

From the center of Falmouth, take Locust Street (which becomes Woods Hole Road) towards Woods Hole. Once you pass Little Harbor on your left, bear right onto Water Street at the split. We are the fifth building on your left, #28 Water Street. The Inn is on the corner of Water and Luscombe. Enter parking lot on Luscombe side of the building adjacent to Quicks Hole Restaurant. - Nearest major airport: Boston, MA (BOS-Logan Intl.) 60 miles

From Boston, take 93 south to Route 3 towards the Cape. Before the bridge, follow signs to Falmouth and the Islands. Go over the Bourne Bridge and take Route 28 all the way into Falmouth and follow signs for Woods Hole.(approx 20 miles).
Buses run on the hour from Logan Airport and South Station to the Martha's Vineyard ferry, 100 yards from the Inn. See Peter Pan bus lines for detailed schedule. Also there are Bonanza busses from Providence and TF Green Airport in Rhode Island.

Rooms 1-4 have one king bed. Room 1 is large enough for an added rollaway. Room 5 has a King bedroom and a pull out queen couch in the second room. Rooms 7-9 are queen rooms and room 8 has 2 beds and can be combined with #9 to make a suite.

- Smoking is not allowed (Smoking is not allowed either in the Inn or on the grounds)
- We cannot accommodate guest pets
- Limitations on children staying (Well supervised children 6 and older are welcome.)
- No childcare is provided
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted (On site restaurant in lower level has beer/wine service)
- Deposit amount required (Room deposit is 100% for one night and 50% of total stay for multiple nights. Balance due upon checking in. CHECK IN AFTER 7 PM IS BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT ONLY AND PREPAYMENT IN FULL IS REQUIRED.)
- Check in time is 3-7 pm and Check out time is 11 am
- Cancellations:
Reservations canceled 14 days or more in advance of arrival date will be refunded in full with a $25 processing fee per room. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will be refunded based on the ability to re-rent the cancelled room(s) and a $25 processing fee per room applies if refunded.
