    Exceptional Bed and Breakfast

    April 25, 2013

My daughter and I stayed one night during a sharp cold spell last February. Some of the problems we anticipated in having no car were solved by the kind help of Deborah and Jim who picked us up at the commuter train station and mapped out great restaurants within walking distance of the Inn. The Inn itself was lovely - much like staying in a private, historic home. We were greeted on our arrival with homemade cookies and tea. Breakfast was unforgettable still - everything homemade with all natural ingredients from fruit smoothies to nutty waffles. And thank heavens for the coffee which was as rich and fresh as I make for myself. Our room had a single queen bed, firm mattress, and quality linens. The room was large and comfortable and attractively furnished. The bathroom retained an historic feel with artwork and baskets full of handmade soaps. Very much appreciated the fluffy towels and bathrobes. Deborah and Jim have created an exceptional bed and breakfast - we very much look forward to returning.

    Fantastic B&B!

    February 20, 2013

This was the best B&B that we've stayed in, so far. The innkeepers are wonderful, very thoughtful and very helpful, without being intrusive. (If you've stayed in B&B's before you know that there's a fine line between helpful and intrusive, and Deborah is a wonderful host). Rooms were very clean and not tacky, like many B&Bs, and the B&B has it's own parking lot, so no need to worry about parking on the street. Also, breakfast. My god, breakfast. It wasn't the perennial French toast, but a wonderful, multi-course meal that centered around fantastic waffles. Definitely worth sticking around for. The only thing guests might want to be aware of is that it's an old house so you can hear other guests on the landing when they walk up the stairs, but, once they're in their rooms, it does quiet down.

    Highly recommend to everyone!

    December 18, 2012

My fiancé and I decided to celebrate our anniversary by having a weekend getaway at the Sleigh Maker Inn. When we arrived, we decided to upgrade to the Sleigh Maker Room and were so glad we did. All of the rooms were exquisite, but our room was particularly spacious and had a beautiful jacuzzi. Deborah and Jim were WONDERFUL. They were so friendly and helpful- they offered recommendations for activities and restaurants and went out of their way to help us any way they could. Breakfast was amazing. Everything freshly made and created with our tastes in mind. Deborah also makes her own soaps so we had a fun time shopping for some gifts as well! We absolutely recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone- we are hoping to make it our tradition and go every year!

    This is a WINNER!

    May 16, 2012

I love this place! Upon arrival, we were greeted with home-made cookies on the dining room table. Facilities for making tea were available along with a nice tea selection. Our hosts could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The room was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. I enjoyed a quiet good night's sleep and awoke to a delicious breakfast, served with a friendly smile. This B&B will be my "go to" inn whenever I stay in this part of Massachusetts.

    My one night [business] stay

    November 01, 2011

Living ~ 2hrs away, I had an early morning training to attend in Westborough, MA - found this B&B close by. I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth & comfort of the home. The home owners were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The ease of booking via this website (bedandbreakfast) was convenient. I was also able to do live chat with a representative, who was able to answer a couple of questions. I appreciated the flexibility with my breakfast needs. It was a delightful find!
