Great B&B!

5 on August 23, 2014

Wanted a convenient place to stay at a good price to pick up our son at Logan Airport in Boson. The owners are very nice people that make you feel at home and the breakfast was fantastic. Convenient location to a historic area and a country club within walking distance that had a nice deck and good food. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thanks Deborah and Jim!

Innkeeper Response
You are very welcome. Hope you had a great day in Boston and no travel issues. Looking forward to seeing you again.

lovely B&B stay

Friendly, helpful owners. Beautiful room with amazing bath. Walkable distance to nice restaurants in small town. Nice breakfast.

Feels like "Home"!

5 on June 01, 2014

We stayed here Memorial Day weekend and right from the moment we entered the house, we were in love with this place. Deborah and Jim were the nicest people. The room was amazing. The house was beautiful. Whenever possible, we will always stay at a B&B when traveling from now on. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. The town says New England to me.

Above and Beyond

5 on May 28, 2014

When I came in to Boston, I intended to get a rental car and drive out, but there were, unfortunately, problems with the car. I arrived (very) late and frustrated from travel plans going awry. Deborah was a God-send. She left me out cookies, fruit, and a sandwich despite it being well after her bedtime, and made sure I had gotten in safely. The next morning, after a simply delicious breakfast, I asked about the best way to get to me destination without a car. I had intended to take a commuter rail, which would require me to leave quite early, and was pretty inconvenient. Deborah, however, volunteered to drive me where I was going, saving me over an hour. I cannot stress again how fantastic my experience at the Sleigh Maker was in every aspect. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Top notch

Best Bed and Breakfast!

5 on November 13, 2013

My daughter and I spent a wonderful fall weekend at the Sleigh Maker Inn. Our room was spotless and incredibly comfy, the food was beyond fabulous, and owners delightful. This is a true bargain I can highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area. I can't wait to return sometime in winter.

1st stay at a B&B and we won't be going back to hotels

5 on September 10, 2013

We had a great stay at the Sleigh Maker Inn over the Labor Day weekend. Even though all rooms were full while we were there, no issues of lacking service could be found. Deborah & Jim were delightful hosts and took every chance to be sure we had a wonderful stay. The food was fabulous and special requests didn't seem to be a problem. The company at breakfast was delightful and we ended up spending an hour and a half in conversation with other guests and never felt hurried at all. Would absolutely recommend this establishment to anyone traveling in the area and also recommend Deborah handmade soaps. We purchased a bottle to take with us. Great place, great folks and great atmosphere. Bravo!

Exceptional Bed and Breakfast

5 on April 25, 2013

My daughter and I stayed one night during a sharp cold spell last February. Some of the problems we anticipated in having no car were solved by the kind help of Deborah and Jim who picked us up at the commuter train station and mapped out great restaurants within walking distance of the Inn. The Inn itself was lovely - much like staying in a private, historic home. We were greeted on our arrival with homemade cookies and tea. Breakfast was unforgettable still - everything homemade with all natural ingredients from fruit smoothies to nutty waffles. And thank heavens for the coffee which was as rich and fresh as I make for myself. Our room had a single queen bed, firm mattress, and quality linens. The room was large and comfortable and attractively furnished. The bathroom retained an historic feel with artwork and baskets full of handmade soaps. Very much appreciated the fluffy towels and bathrobes. Deborah and Jim have created an exceptional bed and breakfast - we very much look forward to returning.

Fantastic B&B!

4.8 on February 20, 2013

This was the best B&B that we've stayed in, so far. The innkeepers are wonderful, very thoughtful and very helpful, without being intrusive. (If you've stayed in B&B's before you know that there's a fine line between helpful and intrusive, and Deborah is a wonderful host). Rooms were very clean and not tacky, like many B&Bs, and the B&B has it's own parking lot, so no need to worry about parking on the street. Also, breakfast. My god, breakfast. It wasn't the perennial French toast, but a wonderful, multi-course meal that centered around fantastic waffles. Definitely worth sticking around for. The only thing guests might want to be aware of is that it's an old house so you can hear other guests on the landing when they walk up the stairs, but, once they're in their rooms, it does quiet down.

Highly recommend to everyone!

My fiancé and I decided to celebrate our anniversary by having a weekend getaway at the Sleigh Maker Inn. When we arrived, we decided to upgrade to the Sleigh Maker Room and were so glad we did. All of the rooms were exquisite, but our room was particularly spacious and had a beautiful jacuzzi. Deborah and Jim were WONDERFUL. They were so friendly and helpful- they offered recommendations for activities and restaurants and went out of their way to help us any way they could. Breakfast was amazing. Everything freshly made and created with our tastes in mind. Deborah also makes her own soaps so we had a fun time shopping for some gifts as well! We absolutely recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone- we are hoping to make it our tradition and go every year!

Sleigh Maker is the place to be

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sleigh Maker. Deborah's breakfasts were creative and delicious, and her homemade soaps were wonderful. The inn was clean, quiet and comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful memory!!

We were in the area for a family wedding and stayed at the Sleigh Maker Inn. What a wonderful place! Gourmet breakfasts, pleasant hosts and beautiful rooms....I could go on and on. It made the whole weekend so enjoyable to have such a great place to stay. It couldn't have been better! Thank you, Deborah and Jim! Rena

This is a WINNER!

5 on May 16, 2012

I love this place! Upon arrival, we were greeted with home-made cookies on the dining room table. Facilities for making tea were available along with a nice tea selection. Our hosts could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The room was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable. I enjoyed a quiet good night's sleep and awoke to a delicious breakfast, served with a friendly smile. This B&B will be my "go to" inn whenever I stay in this part of Massachusetts.

Truly a wonderful bed and breakfast

Deborah and Jim go the extra mile to make your stay truly wonderful

My one night [business] stay

5 on November 01, 2011

Living ~ 2hrs away, I had an early morning training to attend in Westborough, MA - found this B&B close by. I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth & comfort of the home. The home owners were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The ease of booking via this website (bedandbreakfast) was convenient. I was also able to do live chat with a representative, who was able to answer a couple of questions. I appreciated the flexibility with my breakfast needs. It was a delightful find!

new england visit

Spent two nites in October and enjoyed our stay with Jim & Deborah. The food and accomodations were great and they gave us lots of info and recommendations since it was our first visit to new england.

Great place to stay and see the Boston area

4.2 on October 11, 2010

We stayed two nights in the Sleigh Maker room. We loved the large bathroom with jacuzzi tub! My husband and I decided this B&B was a great location for Boston area attractions and had the most comfortable bed (we slept great!). We were disappointed in the breakfasts. While the food was good there just wasn't much of it (compared to other places we stayed on our vacation). We would definately recommend this B&B if you in the area for business or site-seeing.

Unexpected pleasure

4.2 on February 17, 2010

My wife and I have the opportunity to visit the Westborough area several times a year. We have frequently stayed at a competing B & B but this was our first visit to the Sleigh Maker Inn. Wish we had gone earlier. Deb and Jim make the experience. Great people and totally accomodating plus Deb prepares a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend.

Like traveling back in time

5 on February 07, 2010

The decor is absolutely amazing with antiques throughout the whole house. Very warm and inviting atmosphere and Deb and Jim were very welcoming and made us feel right at home. We stayed in the sleigh maker's suite and it was unbelievable! The jacuzzi tub and the sleigh bed, just amazing. Very relaxing. We would recommend this bed and breakfast ten times over!

Great stay

5 on February 05, 2010

My husband and I had a lovely evening at the Sleigh Maker Inn. We stayed in the Sleigh Maker room and loved the extremely comfortable bed and the 2 person jacuzzi. The best part was getting back from dinner and seeing that our bed was turned down and candles lit throughout the room and bathroom. It was a wonderful added touch. Breakfast the next morning was also great. I'm on a gluten free diet and Deborah went out of her way to make me GF scones, which were amazing. We will definitely return.

Perfect B & B

5 on November 06, 2009

We arrived on a snowy ( in October!) afternoon and were warmly welcomed by Deborah. The room was beautiful, cozy and inviting and I especially loved the big Jacuzzi tub. Our stay was relaxing and very comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely recommend the Sleigh Maker Inn. I'm looking forward to giving some of Deborah's homemade soaps as Christmas gifts.

Brilliant B&B with free added extras

5 on October 13, 2009

We were on a leaf peeping tour of New England and stayed in a different B&B every night for a week. This was excellent and one of the best.

Beautiful and comfortable stay

I had a wonderful weekend here. I stayed in the Sleigh Maker room which has a huge bathroom and jacuzzi tub for two. The inn was pretty with thoughtful touches throughout. Breakfast was delicious. The inn is within easy walking distance to a number of shops and it's located in a lovely, small town.

A Treasure in Westborough

Breakfast was of gourmet quality. Innkeeper Deborah is a fabulous cook and also very friendly and accommodating. Fun to talk with. James was very helpful with luggage and directions. We wished we could have stayed longer.

April 09 Stay

5 on May 12, 2009

This was my first stay at a B&B, and I loved it. Deborah and Jim were excellent hosts, very helpful with giving recommendations and directions. My room was really clean and bed was so comfortable. I will definitely stay w/ them again if I get an opportunity to travel to Westborough again.

Fantastic and great value too

My wife and I were supposed to stay together but she came down ill so I came alone. Debra made me feel welcome and I was very impressed with all the details of the place. Very clean and antique but with all modern ammenities. I will definitely have to come back with my wife if I get back to the area.

Friendly, helpful people. Wonderful old, beautifully restored house. Nicely located on the edge of downtown Westborough. Squeeky clean room, filled with period furniture.

One of the Best

5 on May 09, 2008

My husband and I recently stayed at the Sleigh Maker Inn and every element of our stay was excellent. Deborah and Jim were warm and welcoming. Our room had every amenity that we needed, extra towels, extra blankets and pillows, the bed was soooo soft, the shower had very hot water, and the room was clean, relaxing, and beautifully decorated. The inn was overall impeccably clean. The large front porch was a pleasure to spend some quiet time watching the world go by. Each morning Deborah created a new gourmet breakfast for us and made us feel very special. Thank you for a super experience!

Excellent Bed and Breakfast

5 on April 24, 2008

The sleighmaker inn provides the comforts and amenities of home with excellent proprieters with Deborah and Jim Bergeron. The rooms are adorned in Victorian style and are kept immaculate. The 3 course homecooked breakfasts are amazing. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and highly recommended the Sleighmaker Inn.

One of the best I ever visited.

5 on January 24, 2008

Breakfast was the best I ever tasted. I wasn't feeling well my last morning, so what would have been my favorite (spinach and mushroom omelet, with drunken goat cheese), I was only able to eat part of it, but it was delicious! The innkeeper,Deborah was a class act. She had table always decorated nice, for breakfast (3-4 course), hand made soaps, bathrobes, heated towels, and freshly made bed, every day. The location was perfect for visiting Boston, and my grandmother in Milford. The house was perfectt for a bed and breakfast. I more than highly recommend it. I spent 3 wonderful relaxing evenings. It is also very easy to get to.Thank you, again, Ruby from Virginia.

My wife and I lived in Westboro in the late 80s. We love the town and its people. Recently we were called back to visit an old friend and stayed at the Inn. Our stay was wonderful. Deborah and Jim made us feel very welcome. Their home is a treasure - distinctly appointed and extraordinarily maintained. Our room was more than comfortable (I slept like a rock) and was finely decorated. The Breakfast was very very good . . . dare i say "cuisine". I could tell that Deb put a lot of effort into everything she did. She is a very good cook, conversationalist and innkeeper giving thought to even the simplest things. More importantly though, the Bergerons are genuinely good people that I am "better off" having made the aquaintance.

New England Charm

4.6 on April 04, 2007

We have stayed at the Sleigh Maker several times over the past few years. We love the home, and Deborah is an excellent host. The breakfasts are outstanding, and catered to our particular needs and desires. We will keep coming back.

Elegant & comfortable

5 on January 06, 2007

This is an old family home that still feels like one. Deborah & James are as easy to talk with as family, and have put lots of detail into the "care" of their guests, such as Deborah's handmade soaps in the baths. There's plenty of privacy, and beautiful areas indoors and out to gather with others if you like. Breakfasts are served in courses, and are elegant without being overly rich. There's only one seating for breakfast (which is usual), but when we had to leave early to meet our plane on our last morning, they left us a lovely breakfast to go, including fresh coffee in to-go cups! We had a lovely stay, and highly recommend this inn for others!
