This inn is flawless in every detail. Filled with comfortable country antiques, our room was beautifully appointed--a fireplace, four-poster bed, quality finishes---and luxe bath. Indulgences include an abundance of plush towels, large bars of soaps, lots of lighting, mouthwash, toothpaste and toothbrushes (and i'd forgotten toothpaste--lucky us!) The grounds are enchanting---as are inn's views of the gardens, pool, patio and barn--they offer an enchanting breakfast backdrop and make poolside that much more enjoyable. The country breakfast was ample and unhurried, and Diane-the innkeeper-was only too happy to accommodate any request. This inn is convenient to local sites-it's a short and easy trip to Tanglewood, Stockbridge, Lenox, and Lee. Close-by and not-to-be missed is the Berkshires Botanical Garden and the Norman Rockwell Museum; both offer wonderful paths and trails to walk off the Stockbridge Country Inn's indulgent breakfasts. Our annual trip to Tanglewood now has an inn we can consider our home away from home. Thank you Diane and Vern--you've invested much time, effort and expense to creating an idyllic country haven~

I can't begin to express how wonderful and pleasant our stay at The Country Inn was. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the Innkeepers, Diane and Vern. They were absolutely fun and delightful people. Then we went up to our room. It was just gorgeous. Very tastefully decorated and it smelled so fresh and clean. We stayed there last summer for the first time, but I think my wife and I will make it a yearly tradition for our vacation. I would highly recommend this Inn. We can't wait for summer. Our room is already booked.
