This Elegant 3-story Italianate Revival was built in 1812 by the prominent J.J. Oakes, a local physician & postmaster of town. This Mansion offers 18 rooms and 9 baths, including a cozy Parlor featuring an original working fireplace and a stunning tri colored wood floor of Ebony, Oak & Mahogany. From Mass Pike Take Mass Pike 90,to exit #9 Sturbridge take a left at 1st light on to rt. 131, follow for 3.5 miles at 3rd set of lights, take a right onto High St. (follow Harrington Hospital Signs) and an immediate left at top of hill onto South Street. We are 1 block past the hospital on the left, just before the traffic lights.
From South:Take 1-84E to Exit 1 Take a quick right then left onto Mashapaug Rd. for 4.5 Miles. We are located just 1 block from Harrington Hospital. Take left into our driveway just before the traffic lights.
Hint: If you go onto Main Street, you've gone too far! - Nearest major airport: Hartford, CT (BDL-Bradley Intl.) 45 miles
