The Country Garden Inn's Farm House. Our office is located on the first floor and there are 2 rooms (1 large and a 2 room suite) on the second floor and a penthouse (3 rooms with private deck) on the third floor. Homemade cookies await your arrival and we welcome you to enjoy the serenity of our many gardens on 4 acres of land.
The Country Collections Suites are located in this building. Each have their own parking space and they are convenient to the pool and hot tub (seasonal).
Townhouses are set on a knoll. These are luxurious and equipped for a great vacation or romantic getaway. The Townhouses offer a fireplaced living room with a 31 inch stereo television, VCR and CD player. All of this is open to the dining area, which is equipped with a wet bar, refrigerator, coffee maker (coffee, tea, cream and bottled water are complimentary) microwave and full bath. French doors open to your private 200 gallon spa, plush, terrycloth robes and slippers. The loft bedrooms are Laura Ashley decorated and are equipped with TV, VCR, fireplace and half bath. There are 2 air conditioning units for those hot summer nights. Each townhouse has either a private deck or private patio.
These are the village suites and each have a cathedral ceiling, refrigerator, coffee, tea and cream. Also, a private farmer's porch featuring adirondak chairs or patios (each townhouse). All on four acres of beautiful grounds and surrounded by a quiet, wooded area with a pond.
Our townhouses each have a private 200 gallon hot tub. Plush robes and disposable slippers are supplied.
This is the loft bedroom of one of our townhouses. Each have two fireplace, oversized chairs, two television, VCR, 1/2 bath and is open to the first level which includes a full bath, wetbar, coffee maker (coffe, cream, tea and bottled water are complimentary). A separate 200 gallon hot tub (separate room) and plush terry cloth robes. (2 guests only)
Located in the main house (second floor) this bright and large room features a Queen four poster bed, coffee maker (coffee and tea are complimentary) and a private entrance as well as a private parking space.
Our new Country Collection Suites feature a King, Pillow top Mattress, fireplace, flat screen television, 75 gallon Jacuzzi, refrigerator, coffee maker, coffee, tea, cream and bottled water.
Our heated pool is open from May until October and next to it enjoy the 300 gallon hot tub (which is enclosed for privacy).
The fitness center is located under the Village Suites and features all the equipment needed for a good work-out. There is a full bath, bottled water and coffee or tea provided. Open year round.

The Country Garden is a unique combination of lodging options in a quiet setting along scenic Route 1A. The front of the property features a main house with four spacious country style rooms. The rear of the property is wooded on all sides, and features our annex, cottages, fireplace suites and our new addition including village suites and townhouses. All rooms and suites include individual heat controls, air conditioning, telephones, color/cable television, private baths and daily maid service. As additional services we offer free wi/fi internet access, complimentary parking, personal escort to rooms, full business center and a complimentary video & cd library. Fresh breads, pastry and juice is served each morning from 9-11AM and afternoon cookies are available daily in our lobby. I booked a room here not knowing what to expect but I was more than pleasantly surprised. The room was large, clean and beautifully decorated. We loved the working fireplace and jacuzzi! Not many places in the immediate area for dining but a few not too far away. I would stay here again in a quick second and hope I have the opportunity to very soon.

We only stayed one night in November, and we didn't eat the breakfast pastries since we went for a full brunch in Newburyport, so we didn't use the pool or the hot tub. We did enjoy the jet tub in our room and the fireplace. We found the room spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We hope to stay at the Country Garden Inn again in the future, maybe planning a family reunion there!

The only reason for the 3 star rating for dining is that the only meal offered is a continental breakfast. We do not visit for the food, but for all the other amenities, including the pool and the beautifully landscaped grounds. The variety and number of birds is also impressive. Pete and Ann

Our room was beautiful and there was a bottle of Champagne waiting for us upon our arrival. We had used a gift certificate that I had not been aware had expired, and they had still honored it. They allowed us to come early to "check in" in order for us to get our keys in advance of the wedding, as it would be a late check-in. They also were kind enough to allow an early check in for one of our wedding guests, in order for them to be able to get ready for the wedding. We have stayed there before and will definately return. Only issue I had was one of the "freebies", a bottle of lotion, had been left in there although it had been used and had a long hair stuck to the label and it was left in the basket with the other bottles. All in all, it was a wonderful stay and well worth the money -Bonnie and Chad Clough

Our 3 day stay at Country Garden Inn was very, very relaxing. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are cleaned daily. My only suggestions would be that the office open an hour or so earlier for the continental breakfast and the brand of coffee in the rooms be changed. We'll definitely make this our "get away from it all" place.
