Bed was old and not that comfortable but the views were magnificent and everyone was very friendly. Continental style breakfast was fine but not enough room for all guests to eat at the small indoor tables on a colder morning.

We had planned to stay for 1 night, we felt the place was so nice, we made it 2. The innkeepers are very accomodating, and flexible for your needs. Very nice view of the shore, nice neighborhood, off the beaten path, quiet, birds in the thicket, nice place to let your mind relax. Very clean place. Very good breakfast, nicely catered.

We bought the inn in 2013 fulfilling a long time dream. Long time Rockport residents, we love the charm and history of the town’s old homes. Old house restoration is one of our hobbies. Another is raising koi fish. Our oldest is over 15 years old! In our off hours, we love to kayak along the rocky coast, or golf on any of a number of scenic Cape Ann courses.

The Seafarer's Fresh Fruit Feast
No matter what time of year a eyecatching cut up fresh fruit plate is the center of the morning buffet for B and B guests. It may include various seasonal fruits, plus year-round available pineapple, melons, berries, oranges, banannas and on occasion, organic frozen berries. The kind of offering you seldom make for yourself at home. It is delicious with our organic granola and yogurt and a slice of the artisanal bread offering of the day and other buffet extras. Sundays we serve our Rockport special Anadama Bread.
