Gabriel's at The Ashbrooke Inn

We have been going to Gabriel's for years and absolutely love the place. The rooms are magnificent, the breakfast scrumptious, the hosts like family, and the guests we meet become good friends. We cannot say enough good about this bed and breakfast. Our Tibetan terrier loves is, as does our 14-year-old daughter. Gabriel's outdoes itself every time.

Where to start? First, warm, friendly and helpful service. Second, attention to detail - our room had all we could have wanted - overall comfort; fireplace, deck with the promised view of the Pilgrim Monument - right down to labeled light switches. Photos and detailed descriptions on Gabiel's website allow you to see and choose your room. The garden offers lovely nooks in which to relax. Did I mention the breakfast? It's a subtantial and tasty meal to send you on to whatever you plan to do with your day in Provincetown. We love Provincetown. We will ba back. And we will stay at Gabriel's.

Beautiful room (Susan) with fireplace and kitchenette. Perfect for families. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

My husband, my daughter (home on break from university), and I (and our border collie!) had a wonderful weekend at Gabriel's. We stayed in a "condo," the Sullivan room, and it was beautiful and spacious and had everything we needed. There was a park right outside our window to take our dog, and our daughter enjoyed her space on the sleep sofa with a great gas fireplace. The owners--Elizabeth and Elizabeth--were so friendly, welcoming, and had interesting family history on the walls in the dining room. The breakfast was amazing-- lots of options and omelets cooked to order. I hope I have the chance to return, and our younger daughter (who was on a youth trip that weekend) is eager to come along next time!

We stayed in the Susan Room in April with our dog. Very polite, down-to-earth, and welcoming staff and owners. The entrance to the Inn and their community dining room were very inviting, clean, and historically decorated, and the most dog-friendly bed and breakfast we have ever stayed in! Even after checking out of our room, the owners welcomed us to stop back in later that day for a snack and a place to re-coop before heading out of Provincetown. When we visit Provincetown in the future, Gabriel's is definitely where we'll be staying.

A small group of us booked three rooms at Gabriel's this weekend. Everyone was pleased with their room (especially me...I stayed in the room titled Willow), the breakfast, and the ease of check-in and check-out. The location can't be beat. It's a two minute walk to Commerical St. and the water/beach. Elizabeth was also helpful in recommending sites to visit, restaurants (The Red Inn for dining), etc. I would recommend a stay if you're in Provincetown.

We stay here at least once a year and it gets better each time. Central location, friendly environment, impeccably clean and very pet friendly. Enjoy a cookie (and hot apple cider in season) when you return from your day out, wake up to the scent of a hearty breakfast and chat with the owners or staff during the day. You will know you are on vacation.

We always enjoy going to P-town in the off-season and Gabriel's did not disappoint...excellent service, outstanding breakfast, relaxing and welcoming...can't wait to go back!

This is our 18th year of staying at Gabriel's and we are always warmly welcomed! Our days are filled with comforts and relaxation at our home away from home! Breakfasts are delicious, the accommodations are exceptional, and the innkeepers are truly lovely!

Staying at Gabriels was one of our highlights of our trip to Cape Cod. Location is excellent. Breakfast was wonderful. Very pet friendly - had bedding plus food/water bowls laid out on our arrival. Elizabeth and co. were all friendly, welcoming, and informative. Taylor

I have been wanting to stay at Gabriel's for a very long time and was excited when the chance finally came. The first two nights I stayed in Christopher, which is a very bright and airy space with high ceilings and is right on Bradford Street but not at all noisy. The bed is Tempurpedic (I think all the beds at Gabriel's are) and queen-sized. The bathroom is very compact, but not too tight. The shower had wonderful water pressure. The third night I was delighted to be moved to Sarah which is one of the best rooms at the Inn. This room is towards the back of the property and had a king bed, a private entrance, lots of windows, a spacious bathroom, and a gas fireplace heating unit. My only slight quibble is the shower -- while it's huge and could be quite wonderful, there's not much water pressure. That said, it's a minor note among many delightful ones. All of the staff were friendly, helpful, and just plain fun to be around. Breakfast each morning was super tasty and prepared to order. I'm very much looking forward to staying there again the next time I'm in P-town!!

Went in the winter when rates were really low and had a wonderful time!! My husband and I brought our dog and they were incredibly accommodating with a very small extra charge. Beautiful town with lots to do. The room was great and had some great extra features and breakfast in the morning was so nice!!!!!

Upon arriving we were upgraded to the one bedroom Sullivan room which was beautiful. It featured a gas fireplace and a full kitchen. The staff and service was top notch and breakfast was delicious every morning. First time in ptown off season and Gabrielle's made it extremely special. We will definately be back soon! Jason

Pleasantly surprised with room, amenities and proximity to town (walking). Grounds very nice, peaceful and relaxing. Pet friendly with reasonable fee. Parking a bit of an issue but arrangements made to unload and park within 100 yds. Would definitely return to stay again.

I stayed at Gabriel's this passed weekend and couldn't wait to get back to write this review. I don't think I've ever stayed at a cleaner, more beautiful place. It is so obvious that the staff really care about your comfort, as their attention to home-like detail is unmatched. The staff their, Christopher, Elizabeth and Elizabeth are so friendly and engaging. They were the exact opposite of the feigned, scripted responses you get from hotel staff. I stayed in the Dorothea Dix room and it was, in a word -- immaculate. There were so many accents worked into the background of the place, that made it so much more enjoyable. I especially loved how they piped in ragtime jazz and blues through the common room, that could also go to YOUR room. Elizabeth also made breakfast for all the patrons, complete with pastries and everything else. I felt more at home there, then I did my actual home. I can't wait to go back and highly recommend gabriels to any and everyone.

I think the title of my post says it all. The rooms are very warm and welcoming. We stayed at the inn (as opposed to the condos) and the room that we stayed at exceeded our expectations. The bed was extremely comfortable (tempurpedic). The room also included a beautiful skylight, plenty of windows, light hardwood floors, a fireplace, a refrigerator, microwave, and a jacuzzi. The outside area is also very friendly, with a fish pond, places to walk your pets, balconies, and a mini outdoor fireplace. The staff members were also very friendly, and it was clear that they truly wanted to get to know each and every one of their guests. The location is perfect. It is one block up from Commerce St., shopping, restaurants, and the bay. It is also a short drive from Race Point Beach and Herring Cove (great for sunsets). It is close enough to everything, but far away enough to get plenty of peace and quiet. Also, being near the watch tower, it's easy to find from afar :) Breakfast REALLY impressed me. It is served from 8am-10am daily, and there is a wide variety of breakfast food and drinks (coffee/decaff coffee, orange juice, V8, english muffins, pastries, etc.), as well as food that is made to order (pancakes, waffles, eggs, etc.). I will definitely recommend this to others and would love to stay again! Thank you, folks at Gabriel's, for a welcoming stay!

We were very happy with our stay. The staff was great and the location is perfect for getting around town.

We come to the Cape often and we have stayed at many different places and this B and B was the best experience we have every had on the Cape.

Small room with no sink, but so convenient.(

We spent three nights in the newly renovated "Olivia" room in early March and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was full of light and spirit and good care. The small kitchen and dining area in the room made it easy to "eat in" and the new jacuzzi steam shower was a dream. The guest hosts during our stay were incredibly warm and convivial, full of good stories and conversation making. They helped chase away the gray and rainy skies and brought good humor to the virtues of winter. Highly recommended -- a special value in off-peak season -- well worth it!

My partner and I stayed over Valentine's day weekend 2013. The room was clean and the steam shower was amanzing (we stayed in the willow room). The breakfast was much more then expected. Everyday was something different and things were cooked to order. The location is also great (Right behind the town hall). I would definitely recommend Garbiel's to anyone traveling to traveling to Provincetown.

I cannot say enough complimentary things about Gabriel's. This most recent visit was our third annual and has become a tradition. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel as comfortable and welcome as they can. The rooms are very nicely appointed and welcoming. Breakfast in the morning while being full service, is relaxed and informal, you feel like you are staying with friends you have known your whole life. For us, one of the main selling points on the whole experience is being able to include our dogs. I honesly think being at Gabriel's feels like a vacation for them as well, and they are as welcomed and included as we are instead of just being mearly tolerated. Gabriel's has provided extra mats, bowls, and waste bags for us knowing that our dogs were on their way. If all that wasn't good enough, the location is within walking distance of all the beaches, shopping, and fine dining you could hope for from a Cape Cod vacation. We will be back next year, if not sooner!

The room was beautiful. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious my girlfriend even said there scrambled eggs was the best she ever had.

This family-friendly B&B is a gem. The rooms are excellent. The beds (temperpedic!) are super comfortable. The rooms have fantastic amenities including fridge, microwave, dishes, soft robes, technology. When you are at Gabriel's, it feels like you are in a magical place.

We always spend a few days in Provincetown to hike on the beach after Christmas. Gabriel's is a favorite. Lovely people, well managed, very friendly and they welcome dogs. We stayed in the "Christopher" room. The weather was very cold and unfortunately the heater in the room did not work very well so I did not give the room the highest ra.ting. Breakfast is made to order and excellent. Location could not be better. Will probably return next year

Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. We were met with a friendly and caring atmosphere. The room was clean and cozy. We were escorted to our room and fresh chocolates were waiting upon arrival. The location was ideal and great for exploring downtown. Everything was within walking distance. The breakfast was fantastic. Hot breakfast was made to order and coffee and pastries were also available. The staff was friendly and catered to our needs.

The Elizabeth’s and their Chief went above and beyond to accommodate my wife gluten and daily intolerance. When we arrived there was a bag full of goodies that were gluten and dairy free. That was so unexpected and made us feel sooooo welcomed. We will be back for sure as this was our 2nd stay. Keep up the good work!!!

We have been going here for the past 12 years and it never gets old and it's the one big get-a-way a year that we look forward to. We have 4 children and when we go here, all we do is relax and unwind with no children away. They pamper us and make us feel so relaxed with the wine and cheese in the afternoon and fresh baked cookies in the evening, and not to forget the full breakfast in the mornings. If you want a place to go where the atmosphere is calm, relaxing and the staff treat you like family...this is the place to go. We will always call Gabriels our home away from home.

Spent an off peak-season night at Gabriel's. It was incredibly romantic spending a wonderful evening by the fireplace. The grounds were lovely and the service was fantastic. We met great people at breakfast, which was made to order and rather delicious. Highly recommend the Ariel suite. We will definitely be staying here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Gabriel's. The dog-friendly room was neat as a pin, and full of amenities for all of us - a bed, treats, and even dishes for our dog, and a great little kitchenette. Especially in the off-season, this was a great value. The Elisabeths and their staff also make a really great breakfast!

My husband and I traveled to Provincetown for the Thanksgiving holidays. In years past, we had gone to the Cape annually for years, staying at the home of a personal friend, who passed away a few years ago. We chose Gabriel's for a stay last year in a quest to "reclaim" our Provincetown tradition, at the recommendation of a colleague, and because they are "pet-friendly." That was our first stay, and we liked it so well that we chose Gabriel's again this year. The Inn has a warm, elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms we've stayed in (Laurel and Susan) are beautiful and spacious, with high-quality toiletries in well-appointed bathrooms. Both had kitchens and washing machines, and would be excellent for extended stays. When we brought our dog with us, there was a dogbed, bowls, and treats waiting for him. The gardens are lovely, and the breakfasts are delicious. The location in Provincetown is excellent--just a short jog from the middle of Commercial Street--parking is provided. The staff are helpful and friendly and also very professional. Both times we've stayed there, we've left something in our room and it was immediately mailed back to us. The owners, Elizabeth and Elizabeth Brooke, deserve special mention. They take the time to make every guest feel personally welcome. Although they are far from intrusive, one feels they really care about each guest and that their solicitude is quite genuine. It is not surprising to me that so many guests are returnees. It is my pleasure to recommend Gabriel's highly.

Provincetown was awfully close to rolling up it's sidewalks for the season when we stayed at Gabriel's. My wife and I decided to see if we could squeeze a little more life out of P-town and were surprised to find a lot of it at Gabriel's . It was very cold (late November) and we were glad they are so close to downtown. The owners are amazing people who spend a lot of time with their guests. They are filled with great stories and wonderful suggestions to guide you to the local highlights, even this late in the season. Breakfast was cook to order and served in minutes. The room had a great fireplace to keep us warm and many other amenities. We will definitely be coming back next year.

We stayed in the Michael Patrick suite. The room was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally helpful. I highly recommend Gabriel's and hope to be back soon.

Really comfortable and homey with a wonderful garden area. Situated next to public park and within walking distance to restaurants. Parking is a challenge but easy and free in the off season. Breakfast is fresh and made in the open kitchen and dining area. Owners are there and couldn't be nicer or more eager to please with visitor recommendations.

I titled this Home for the Holidays because the best part of Gabriel's is the way the owners, the staff and the other guests make one feel like part of the family. The kitchen staff are just wonderful. They make you feel like you are at your favorite grandmother's house and your are their favorite grandchild. Does it get any better than that? Besides, the breakfast is wonderful - satisfying and nutritious and as little or as much as you would like to eat. We were there for Thanksgiving and the atmosphere of the common rooms and the rooms are cozy and comfortable - an inviting place to come home to after a bracing day outside in cold.

This was a very very small room. There were some issues with our stay but have been taken care of. Elizabeth and Elizabeth are wonderful. I would encourage anyone to stay here.

I recently stayed at Gabriel's for my sister's wedding and it couldn't have been a better time! Due to the number of people invited to the wedding, our family and the guests would up taking every room, so we essentially had Gabriel's entirely to ourselves. The rooms were charming and much bigger than I would have thought. My husband, son and I stayed in the Susan room and it was perfect. Our son slept on the pull-out couch, which was quite comfortable. And there was even a washer/dryer in the room in case that was needed.

Can't say enough about this place!!!!! LOVE, LOVE , LOVE it!!!

Everything about our stay was perfect,. The breakfast had just about anything that you would want.

We were recently able to rent out the entire bed and breakfast for our wedding weekend. It was so special to have everyone we love near us, and still be able to provide everyone their own space to relax. The Elizabeths were great to correspond with and were very gracious to open up their home to us! Their staff is more than accommodating and went above and beyond in every way possible. Having this place as a main part of our wedding was one of the best choices we could have made. The grounds were beautiful for pictures and the rooms are great - especially the showers! Only wish we could've stayed longer. We definitely recommend Gabriel's for a quick weekend away or for a major event!!

Gabriel's never disappoints, it consistently exceeds expectations. The proprietors place a great deal of importance on making you feel welcome, and anticipating your every need. They wrote the book on the true meaning of hospitality. Every employee is courteous and accommodating. So refreshing! The rooms are beautifully appointed, up-to-date, clean, and comfortable. The bathrooms are spacious and luxurious. Well outfitted kitchens or kitchenettes allow you to stay "home" without missing out. Pets are celebrated, not just tolerated at Gabriel's. Companions routinely receive an extra dose of mushiness from employees and other guests. If you feel like having a retreat from your life, this is the place to do it. We had a great weekend at Gabriel's for a wonderful couples wedding. The room was pristine and the grounds were beautiful. The staff was very accomodating for our large group both at breakfast and letting us have a cocktail party there on Friday. The room we stayed in was just upstairs from the breakfast room, and we did hear a lot of noise in the morning, but our group was also quite loud...so might not be a problem on a regular weekend. Really enjoyed ptown and our great weekend there!

My sister selected Gabriels as the family-friendly option for her wedding guests and we are so glad we stayed there!! Elizabeth & Elizabeth were so welcoming. Kay & Christopher were ready to help with our every need. The rooms were beautifully appointed, charming & comfortable. The grounds are unique and were a perfect backdrop for pre-wedding photos. Would love to come back in the summer and enjoy the gardens. Will definitely return - hopefully with friends!

This was a great place to stay! Adorable, comfortable and walking distance to the center of town. The one thing I would have liked was a bit more explaination of deposits when making my reservation and instructions on check out processes. One of the better Inns I have stayed at.

We love Gabriel's, the location is great for Provincetown. We always stay here when we come to Provincetown. There is such a relaxed feeling to this place. The owners and staff make it special. I've spent many vacations at Gabriel's. Love the relaxing gardens, Jean's b-fasts, the Elizabeths and Chris&Jean& staff make coming to Gabriel's feel like home. Thank you again for and enjoyable stay and will will return again!

We only stayed here for one night but the room exceeded our expectations. The hosts were lovely and the hot breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely book rooms here again when back at P-town. Would highly recommend.

Having lived in Florida for the past 25 years, we were quuite excited to be visiting P-town again!! It has been a very long time since staying at Gabriel's! It was a fabulous, yet short, 3 days! The Inn is absolutely wonderful. The food and service is excellent. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Chris! He gave us all kind of tips wherever we saw him in town and he oriented us to the Inn beautifully: especially on how to lock the door! It was so great to be a block away from everything!! There is no better place to stay! We cannot wait until we go back for another visit. Hopefully this time it won't be 25 years!

Our stay at Gabriel's was exactly what we had hoped for and even better... From the moment of arrival until our reluctant departure it was a real pleasure. This was a longed-for Fall Getaway and the Elizabeth Duo certainly delivered a perfect respite! We never really get to bring our four-legged buddy along on our trips but always try to include him in on the Fall Adventure and Gabriel's was THE BEST place we have ever stayed with him. It was obvious they don't just tolerate pets (like some establishments) but they really welcome them and help the owner to feel comfortable bringing them along. I have been at this location on more than several occasions and have concluded it to be the best place to stay. The entire staff and owners are extremely cordial and friendly and there is nothing they would not do to make your stay the best ever. Although there are other good locations, I cannot foresee staying any other place. The last time I visited, I stayed an extra day, thanks to Elizabeth Ann finding another room to accommodate my wishes. I can't wait for a return visit in the spring/summer.

We have been to Provincetown many times but never spent the night. We are so happy our first overnight was at Gabriel's - it was wonderful and well beyond our expectations! Our room (Ariel - AKA the 'treehouse','was delightful!! It was spacious, airy, bright and very comfortable. Every nook and cranny was utilized well and it was nicely decorated. Our service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. Chris who showed us to our room was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed not only the scrumptious breakfast made to order but the company and conversation with the two Elizabeths and guests in the Great Room! Gabriel's location was also great - walking distance to shopping and restaurants and ocean! We would recommend Gabriel's to all and would love to to come again!

Everything about Gabriel's is always the loveliest of experiences, and it's a real treat to come and to stay! Thank you! We last stayed in WILLOW, and I could live in that room! The breakfasts were delicious, accomodating, and delightful. And everyone we always meet there are great! Can't wait to return next year. We make sure to mark this annually on our calendars!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience I had a t Gabriel's. I felt like I was staying with family. The daily breakfast was amazing and the inn keepers and staff are fun, happy, kind, and so friendly. They set the tone and the guests become a part of their small community. It was truly a lovely experience. I wnated to move in permanently. I will always stay at Gabriel's when I am in Provincetown, MA, and you should too.

The visit was great and I highly recommend Laurel! The window seat is the best perch in the place, the shower is to die for and for breakfast I have no words. Love coffee if you are visiting Gabriel's because theirs is sublime!

The owners and stafff were warm, caring and attentive to our needs. They shared the history of the Inn and were easy to talk with. We all loved our rooms and were pleasantly surprised with the uniquness. We made a pact to spend a weekend at Gabriel's next year! We had such a great experince at Gabriel's! The rooms are cozy and neat. The patio/garden was beautiful and we utilized that area frequently. The breakfast was out of this world. I can't say enough about what a wonderful experince we had. I highly recommend Gabriel's if you are staying in Provincetown!

We have been going to Gabriel's for many years. While the breakfast has always been good, this year the chef is extraordinary. Wonderful home fries and the best omelet and pancakes. The room was comfortable with coffee and bed and bowl for our dog. Really a great place to stay in Provincetown.

We found this inn through an online search and were so happy with our stay. Excellent location between Town Hall and Pilgrim's Monument allows a walk to everywhere. Super comfy room with charming bathroom ... and bathrobes were an unexpected perk. The breakfast was fabulous! Great food and company - different offerings every morning. The corn fritters - what a treat! Lovely back deck with koi pond and waterfall to break fast upon. (weather permitting :) )

I cannot say enough about the Laurel. Two fireplaces, a window seat (I love window seats; one of those things I lamented over not having as a child), a whirlpool tub, and an amazing, awe-inspiring, incredible (can you tell I can't say enough about it?) rainfall/steam/water-hits-you-from-every-angle shower. There are televisions in every room, a table with extensions in case you have company, a washer and dryer, and one of the best small refrigerators I've ever used (when you turn it all the way up, it actually freezes things! Amazing concept!). The room was relatively quiet, though I'm not sure how it would be during warmer times. It's directly across from the kitchen, and I'm sure you'd be able to hear a lot of activity outside with people eating breakfast. But I would still book this room over and over if I had the chance, so that would not sway me. There is a room above the Laurel, and someone was staying in it, but we never heard anything. We brought our dog, Captain Awesome, to enjoy Pet Appreciation Weekend for the second time in a row, and Captain received his own special amenities. These included two beds, Buddy Biscuits, his own bowls, and an adorable poop bag dispenser (we were very tempted to bring it home!). I didn't indulge in breakfast, but if I were a breakfast lover, they provide all the fixings for a good breakfast. Great place to stay. We will never consider staying anywhere else in Provincetown.

Everything was excellent; the staff, food, location, and attention to detail. A warm atmosphere. You really felt like you were at home. My only complaint which is probably my fault is that I assumed the jacuzzi in the room was a full sized jacuzzi. However it's a small one fitting only one person.

The Inn was lovely. The room was bright, airy and cozy. The bed was comfy and dreamy. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Coming home in the evening to sit in the Great room and sip a cup of tea was a delight. The location could not have been more convenient. We will definitely be back to Gabriel's on our next visit to Provincetown. We're not sure we'd even like to try anyplace else.

We found Gabriel's to be very conviniently placed. It gave us access to everything in town we were interested in. In addition, the staff was friendly, welcoming and just plain fun. The room was lovely and with the kitchenette it was a nice cozy place to get back to for a cup of tea or a warm treat when the rain got to be too much. A perfect weekend for us.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Gabriel's. The room was spacious yet cozy, the breakfasts were great, and the location hard to beat. The only issue was the bells of the clock tower at the Town Hall across the street woke us up several times during the night.

When I decided to take a vacation alone with my dog, I wanted a place where I was in town and felt safe. I got that and much, much more. The Elizabeth's and Christopher are fantastic and always there to help make your vacation perfect. They gave me suggestions for eating which was very important since I had my dog. Breakfast on the patio with other guests was lots of fun and amazingly yummy! I couldn't have asked for a friendlier place to stay. I recommend it for anyone coming to Proincetown who wants a very special vacation. I will be going back, again and again!

What a super-friendly place for people and their canines. So convenient to have the park practically outside our door. "Hostesses" and staff were excellent...just the right amount of friendliness without an ounce of pretentiousness. A comfortable and classy establishment. Gardens were beautiful. We hope to return for another pleasant stay and highly recommend.

We love Gabriel's! We have stayed in several different rooms and they are all unique. We always feel like the rooms are very comfortable and homey. Breakfast is fabulous and there is always coffee and tea available during the day and homemade cookies in the kitchen/living room in the afternoon. The staff is very friendly and always helpful.

Clean, bright, well kept room. Free breakfast was made to order and brought to me in the great room. Main seating area was gorgeous. The Brookes run a fantastic operation and we are determined to go back here again next year. Bravo.

We enjoyed yet another wonderful week in Provincetown at the only place we will stay! From the daily breakfast choices, to the soothing jaccuzi at the end of the day, we were treated like royalty. Great Location, Pet Friendly, Excellent Breakfast, Had booked the only room available for pets but was upgraded to a nicer room upon arrival.

First, let me say that we've been to P-Town twice before. Our first time we stayed in a condo, which was newer than Gabriels but looked older, run down, lacked amenities and the convenience of being right in the center of town. Our second time in P-Town, we stayed at a guest house on the west side, which had absolutely no charm, was minimally comfortable and our room was absolutely tiny!! Our hosts were pleasant enough but boring and breakfast was between 7-9am - period. At Gabriels, our room and bath were spacious, charming, well equipped, with windows on three sides and filled with personal touches that made us feel right at home. We felt relaxed the minute we stepped foot onto the property! The room, the bed, the linens, the sofa were all comfortable and very clean, except for the floor (which wasn't dirty but probably hadn't been scrubbed in a while) but then, we have to remember, we're on the Cape and we have our dog with us, so what did we expect? The room was well equipped and lacked nothing. The grounds were well cared for and nothing appeared to be in disrepair. And, you can't find a more convenient location! As much as I could continue to rave about the room and the property, the service topped our every expectation ~ everyone from our hostesses and all of their staff ~ were all friendly, approachable, easy-going, helpful, pet-friendly and very, very welcoming. They obviously love what they are doing and it shows. Our breakfasts were amazing ~ something not to be missed! If you're planning to spend any time in P-Town and whether you enjoy travelling with your pet, this is the place, you won't regret it. This is a delightful place in a perfect location, in the center of Ptown with a courtyard garden setting. The owners and staff could not be more welcoming and responsive. The breakfasts are delicious!

We found Gabriel's many years ago, and have not stayed anywhere else in Provincetown since. We visit at least twice a year, and each visit is just as wonderful as the last. The staff at Gabriel's is top notch, and the breakfast they serve is delicious. Every room is beautifully decorated, and the beds are comfortable with the softest sheets you could ever feel! We consider Gabriel's our "home away from home" and have made lifelong friends. If you want all the comforts of home (and then some), stay at Gabriel's, and bring your pet too!!!

We have stayed in many fine places in Provincetown and Gabriel's is the best. Elizabeth, Elizabeth and Christopher and the entire staff make us feel so welcome. Luxurious rooms, sparkling clean with sheets soft as butter. Breakfast made to order with good hot coffee. Lovely restful gardens yet a short walk to everything in town. We schedule our Provincetown vacations so we can stay at Gabriel's.

Elizabeth, Elizabeth and Christopher were incredibly warm and welcoming. The gardens are gorgeous. We found Gabriels because we wanted to bring our dog on a beach vacation. We had a private entrance to an adjacent park that was very convenient. The hosts welcomed our pooch but the staff was skittish. Furnishings are adequate but not inspired. Can't beat the in-town location. We plan to go back next year.

We stayed in Provincetown for Carnival week 2012 and this is the second year I have stayed at Gabriel's. It is a beautiful B&B, comfortable, and exceptional in cleanliness and service. The staff there are so personable and wonderful. The rooms are always light and bright and clean. It's centrally located, but it's nice to be able to retreat back to your room when you want a little peace and quiet or just kick your feet up for a rest. I reccommend this B&B to anyone planning a stay!

This was our 2nd year at Gabriel's during Carnival. It is a great place to stay with our dog and we are planning on going back next year.

I have been visiting the cape for several years, while on vacation. I have stayed at other BB but nothing has compared with Gabriel's. Now I stay at Gabriel's BB everytime I go to the cape. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

My friend and I stayed at Gabriel's at The Ashbrooke Inn during Carnival Week in Provincetown. It was wonderful! Centrally located, with easy access to everywhere in town, and mere blocks away from the ferry dock. We stayed in the Agatha Christie suite, which was perfect for two friends traveling together. And, breakfast every morning was made to order, with delicious options, and such friendly staff. We could not have picked a more perfect place to stay!

Felt like family upon check-in. Beautiful decor, cozy rooms, warm inn-keepers, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast. Gabriel's is just steps away from everything. Who could ask for anything more? Oh, and the daily, fresh baked, cookies didn't hurt. Our first time at Gabriel's - already made reservations to stay again.

This is our second stay at Gabriel's and I belive from here we have started a tradition. We were up for family week and the accomodations were superb. The hospitality we reeived from the staff was beyond our expectations. Breakfast each morning was a true delight. The Inn is conveniently located, private, serine and spacious. Our room was sweet and perfect for both us and our 3 year old. The bonus is that they are extremely child and pet friendly. My only downside was that I wished there was better and more front desk service. In any case, I wouldn't trade this place for any other in town!

Gabriels is right in the heart of everything in Provincetown. We stayed in the "Olivia" room for our honeymoon. The room was fabulous & so was the professionalism of the staff. PLus they serve a hearty breakfast each morning! Our stay at Gabriels was worth every penny!! Love Love Love it!

Rooms were clean and very comfortable, breakfast was delicious, the staff was super nice and the location couldn't have been better. We are vegan and are not used to being catered to at meals, but the staff made us a special breakfast each morning that was incredibly tasty. Overall highly recommended and I'd come back in a heartbeat.

Best place we have stayed in a long time. Great location (right in town) but, once you were on the property, you felt like you were in a secret garden. It was amazing. Great food, great service. Hope to go back soon.

My boyfriend and I stayed on a Monday-Friday and honestly we had a fantastic time from the beginning. The room was so cute and clean and looked brand-new. Service was great. Anything we needed we just asked any of the staff members. The breakfast they served in the morning was so tasty! And there was plenty of everything! Also, the day we were leaving, our car needed a jump and one of the staff members agreed to help us without hesitation! I highly, HIGHLY recommend staying at Gabriel's. When we go back to Cape Cod we will definitely return. Oh, and the fact that they are pet friendly was the icing on the cake.

Our Stay at Gabriel's was outstanding! Not only is this B&B's location perfect, but our room's location was as well. Gabriel's makes sure your stay is comfortable in every way. We traveled with our mini poodle and he too was treated like family! The InnKeepers, Elizabeth and Elizabeth, thought of everything! They not only stock your room with the typical toiletries, such as shampoo, and conditioner, but also supply toothpaste, shower cap, 2 spa robes, an iron, small adequate fridge, plates, bowls, glasses, silverware, corkscrew, dog bowls, dog bed, a sheet to cover the bed so that your pooch doesn't soil the beautiful comforter (brilliant!), and if you should need an umbrella, beach chairs, etc. they are all there for you to borrow if you should forget anything. The breakfast each day was amazing too! Elizabeth (we only met the one Elizabeth), and her son Christopher, are available, wonderful, and approachable InnKeepers, and their staff are friendly too! During breakfast, the staff is ready to serve you the moment you enter the "Great Room," and will spoil you like you are family. Needless to say, we will definitely be booking our next summer vacation at Gabriel's! Love, Love, Love it!

Everything about Gabriel's was wonderful. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The shower was spectacular, the bed comfy. And breakfast went well beyond just pastries (though they had those too). I would have been happy to stay even longer!

Such a relaxing place to be. We were warmly welcomed, as was our springer, who was fast friends with Christopher. We'll be returning soon.

Kirk in the breakfast room was exceptionally polite and friendly. Two other females also working in the breakfast room were very polite and friendly. I never saw or spoke to the cook but they did a marvelous job. my room was small, the "Hope" room and i knew it would be, but it was full of features, very cute, and had details and everything I could've needed. The water in the shower had a lot of pressure and was as hot as I wanted it. The bed was extremely comfortable and the sheets were extremely soft. exterior: The flowers, rock gardens, benches, fire pit, little pond with fish and waterfall are enchanting. figurines of nymphs, frogs, mushrooms, little doors leading to imaginary rooms are scattered about. A/C and TV worked great. and even though the room is close to street, noise was never a problem for me. I'll definitely stay there again.

Friendly staff and very clean accommodations. Good location near the Town Hall and a short walk from the pier if you arrive by Ferry. Recommend going up Pilgrims Tower which is a short walk from the Inn.

This was a wonderful spot to stay in P-town. The rooms were very clean, nicely appointed, and quite spacious. The homemade breakfast was wonderful! Also, this B&B's proximity to Commercial Street was perfect. Would definitely make a return trip...

Myself and 2 friends stayed at Gabriel's in Provincetown for several days in July. I have tried several other B&B's in PTown over the years - but Gabriel's stands out in several areas. The cooked to order breaskfasts are truly outstanding - best I've had anywhere; the grounds are gorgeous - you would not know that you are in the center of a busy town; our rooms was great - great location; great amenities (Tempurpedic bed!) and I can rave enough about the shower. We already booked for another visit next year.

Gabriels is exactly as described.We stayed in the Olivia the room was wonderful. The room was clean, neat and updated.Flatscreen tv in each room.Wonderful smell when you walk into the hallway and the room.The linens were impeccable.We consider ourselves hotel snobs and we were pleasantly surprised.We were skeptical because it is a bed and breakfast but it was amazing. We arrived a bit after 7PM and the office closes promptly at 7PM. But our envelope with our room information was waiting for us at the door and while unloading we ran into one of the Elizabeth's (owners) walking her dog Ms Popper. She was very very nice and suggested a place for us to eat dinner ourside that night (since it was wonderful weather). She also told us breakfast would be between 8:30AM and 10:00AM tomorrow. She also congratulated us on our marriage (It was nice she remembered since we mentioned it when we booked our room almost 6 months ago once in an email).We decided to try the breakfast everyone raves about the next morning. OH MY GOODNESS.The breakfast was incredible for each and every day we stayed at Gabriel's.The service was wonderful and the food was amazing.Staff is very personable, friendly and accommodating.We made arrangements to pay the balance of our stay in cash when we arrived and instructions clearly state when you book if you do not arrive before the office closes the balance will be applied to the credit card you used to make your reservation.Well in the morning we met Elizabeth #2 and we mentioned to her we assumed the balance was put through onto our credit card last night since we arrived after the office closed and she said no we waited since we knew you wanted to pay cash.I thought that was great since they had every night to run it through.We will stay ONLY at Gabriel's when we visit Ptown in the future as the breakfast is worth the stay and the room is amazing and we rate this stay a 5. We took our 2 dogs on a weekend vacation to p-town and stayed at Gabriel's. They are very dog-friendly, when we arrived there were 2 dog beds and a set of dog bowls in our room. The room was cute and clean and located close to everything! We all had a great time.

We have returned to Gabriel's for 3 years in a row. Our Italian Greyhounds love this pet friendly inn and their 2 dads love the home cooked breakfast! We will return again.

Gabriel's staff was always professional, friendly and efficient. The breakfasts each morning were delicious. The room was well-appointed and maintained, and extremely clean. Guests are allowed pets in some of the rooms, which is always a nice option. The owners were always available and very helpful.

Central located, friendly atmosphere, rooms & outdoor seating is absolutely beautiful . The chefs also that cooked in the morning were fantastic and professional. It was like being with the chefs from food network-creative, delicious, wonderful! We were so happy with our stay. Highly recommended! We will love to stay at Gabriel's again! My girlfriend and I recently planned a trip to Boston during the July 4th celebration. Since my girlfriend had never been to PTown or Boston I couldn't wait for her to experience both. Our expectations while in PTown were exceeded by a country mile. The staff at Gabriel's makes you feel welcome from the minute you make your reservations. Both Elisabeth's were gracious hostess. Their staff was extremely warm and willing to adjust the menu for my girlfriends food allergies. The Inn is beautiful and well maintained. I provides a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for those weary from shopping or sight seeing all day. If you are considering a stay in PTown I highly recommend Gabriel's. We are already planning our next trip back.

We can't even count how many times we've stayed at Gabriel's. It is the only place we stay in P-town. It is our home away from home. Everyone there is so welcoming. The staff couldn't have been better. Every year they out due themselves with the breakfasts..... The gardens are more beautiful than the past year....The rooms are always being updated, Everytime we arrive both Elizabeth's greet you with a smile. What more could you want..... Going on vacation to P-town is something we look forward to every year, and staying at Gabriel's is the topping to an absolutely fantastic time.....

The owners of Gabriel's, The Elizabeths, are wonderful hostesses! They often come down for breakfast to meet and greet their guests. Their staff is beyond description. They are courteous, helpful and respectful. They have a breakfast full of wonderful daily surprises and everything is made fresh and to order. The location, which is a block away from Commercial Street, allows for convenience to shops and restaurants while allowing for peace and quiet when you return to the Inn. It's a must stay!!

I've stayed on the Cape many times though never in the heart of Provincetown. We choose Gabirel's to stay at and could not have been happier. You truly are close to everything; downtown, the water, the East End, the West End- yet being one street behind Commercial Ave and next to a park made Gabriel's quieter and a little more hidden. The room was perfect, with thoughtful touches like our own Keurig, a tin of chocolates, and robes. Every staff member I encountered was very friendly. My boyfriend has already asked if we can stay there again. I highly recommend.

Relaxing atmosphere, ideal location and easy walking distance to all Provincetown attractions. Breakfasts were bountiful, freshly prepared and very tasty. Common, well landscaped courtyard fostered interactive discussions between guests. Gabriel's has all the modern day amenities with a 1940's tempo making it a perfect landing pad for a few days.

Great location and amazing amenities! It provided the perfect backdrop for our weekend away. The room was cozy and had everything we could have wanted. The porch was an added bonus! Staff were friendly and helpful.

This B&B was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were clean and tidy, the breakfast was always delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. Its less than a minute walk to Commercial Street where all the shops and restaurants are. If you're taking a trip to Provincetown, this is the B&B to stay at!

Loved the room but the bathroom was ridiculously small. Location is wonderful; gardens and grounds are lovely.

Thank you for your review. We do have three rooms that, although they are very nice, they do have smaller bathrooms: "Michael", "Hope" and "Christopher". They are in our older building and are appropriately priced below the 13 other rooms that we have that feature larger and very large bathrooms. We hope you will try one of these newer rooms the next time you visit!

Our stay was wonderful and super relaxing! The first couple days of our stay the weather was rainy and very cool. The owners graciously turned on the gas fireplace in our room for us to enjoy since the fireplace had been turned off for the season. Exceptional and unexpected! All the staff made us feel so welcome. We couldn't ask for a better vacation!

We recently stayed in the Christopher room for a few nights with our dog. When you walked in, the bright airy room was refreshing to see! A dog bed, bowls and treats for the furry one really made me smile! The room was neat and clean and spacious! The welcome paperwork was so helpful- information about breakfast times, housekeeping, tipping, parking- all things you always want to know but might not think to ask! Really terrific and organized! A lot of special touches! The only downsides were nowhere to really put your luggage (or unpack it really) unless you put them in the closet with the robes and the bathroom is small- can only fit one person at a time. Other than this though, we had a terrific stay! Breakfasts were amazing and freshly prepared, other guests were friendly and overall we loved staying here. We will definitely be back and look forward to a longer stay and experiencing more of what Provincetown has to offer! Thank you for making this a wonderful experience!

Gabriel's has been our home away from home for about seven years. Its comforts and convenience are unbeatable. This year, our hosts went above and beyond to help us when our dog had a little spill-- providing a first aid kit late at night, putting us in touch with their vet the next day, and changing our room reservation to a ground-floor room for the fall. Our dog is doing fine, and we can't wait to go back.

When my family and I arrived in Provincetown it was cold, raining, and three more hours until checkin. I called and Elizabeth told us we could check in now. When we arrived, the room was warm with the fireplace already working! It felt great! The room was beautiful with amenities I had never experienced in a B&B. The staff was very courteous. This was my best B&B experience ever! I will go back again!

After traveling all over the United States we (2 Irish and 1 Scottish girl) arrived at Gabriels without any prior knowledge of the Inn. To say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. This is a fabulously quaint, yet modern, cosy, yet airy B and B which is as good as we've ever experienced around the world. The rooms are top notch and the friendly atmosphere gives the feeling that every guest is a friend. We only ate breakfast at the Inn but it was good home country cooking with a stylish edge and all served in a warm and welcoming dining room. I certainly will be recommending this B and B to any and everyone I know who is visiting this part of the U.S. Excellent all round.

Great location, exceptionally comfortable beds. Quiet. The bedtime chocolates are a nice touch. Very clean. Friendly, helpful maids and kitchen staff. Small crits: It would have been nice if the young man who took us to our room had at least offered to carry one of my bags up the stairs. Also, I'd prefer room not smelling strongly of bleach upon arrival, though I appreciated its cleanliness.

We visit Provincetown annually for a long weekend during the quiet Spring season. The only place we would ever stay is Gabriel's. The Innkeepers - Elizabeth & Elizabeth - are both warm and friendly, making us feel like family. The Inn has a Great Room where a fabulous breakfast is served by the lovely staffmembers each morning. In addition to yogurt, muffins, danish, cereal and fruit, there is always a hot breakfast (omelet, waffles, pancakes) - made to order. And if you need a midday pick-me-up, there are homebaked cookies on hand. Yummy. Because the Inn is on Bradford Street, one block behind the town's major thoroughfare (Commercial Street), things are quiet at night - perfect for a restful sleep. Of course it's still plenty close so that all dining, bars and attractions are a very short stroll away. Rooms are comfortable, beautifully appointed and spacious. And, if you're not into the nightlife, they have an extensive DVD library for viewing on the state-of-the-art flatscreen TVs (some rooms even have them in the bathroom!). This is a wonderful, wonderful place. I cannot say enough good things about it.

Warm and inviting luxury, relaxed and comfortable environment, wonderful owners and welcoming staff. More than pet friendly, Gabriel's at Ashbrooke Inn provides all the creature comforts for all its visitors. As its located near the hub of Ptown culture and public transportation, one can park the car and not see it again until its time to pack up and leave. It is a place to which I and my dog will return time and time again.

My wife and I stayed in this B & B two evenings. Everything about this place is wonderful. Great service and very nice people. The breakfast staff was so accomodating and pleasant. A real treat.

We stayed in "Willow". The room is spacious and very clean. The shower was great w/ many shower heads. There is a kitchen area w/ a fridge and sink which would be great if we were staying longer. We stayed only one night, off season so it was very quiet. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The only drawback is the clock (on the Town Hall?) gonging out the hours throughout the night and wee hours of the morning. If you are a light sleeper it can be a problem.

Other guests have commented on the Ashbrooke Inn's propinquity to restaurants (e.g. Jimmy's Hideaway, Lobster Pot) and that was definitely a plus, for, for my boyfriend and me, it was a wonderful escape. We stayed at the Inn in April and I rather liked how quiet P-town was. The room was fabulous. The Elizabeths and Chris were lovely hosts. I've stayed at a few B & B's in the past and what set this place apart from the others is the second "B." At others, the breakfast was satisfactory but not filling, or there were very good options but you could only choose one. (On vacation, I like the "more is more" philosophy behind eating.) At the Ashbrooke Ine, you can get the eggs and the pancakes and the waffles and the yogurt with the granola. It's really the small details like how much one can eat that pushes a place from "exceeds from expectations" to "outstanding." There were others there who were celebrating their anniversaries, and they had been going back to the Ashbrooke Inn every year for many years. My bf and I plan to do the same. We made a last minute trip to the Cape last week and chose to stay at Gabriel's at The Ashbrooke Inn. The staff, the room, the grounds and the breakfast were among the very best I've experienced in Provincetown. Traveling with a dog is often difficult, but our stay was made so much the better for the thoughtful way in which Gabriel's accommodates all members of one's traveling family. I recommend this B & B to anyone looking for a great stay in Provincetown.

The breakfast they serve in the morning!? INCREDIBLE. ONLY time ive ever been glad i got up early enough for a hotel breakfast!

The rooms are clean and cozy and the grounds are beautiful. It was a quick stay with no real time to explore, spring and summer would be the best time to visit and get a full appreciation of the inn.

I really enjoyed my stay at Gabriel's at the Ashford Inn. It is so conveniently located near all the main attractions in Provincetown. The staff is super friendly, everything is extremely clean and the room was fantastic. The bed was so confortable I just wanted to stay there the whole time, but the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was also calling my name at al times. The fire place and the small kichenette were also awesome for the champaigne and the cheeses we brough. My partner and I really enjoyed our weekend getaway.

I enjoyed staying here off-season. Nice breakfast, good sized rooms, and excellent location. Jets in bathtub didn't work, but other than that, in good repair.

Friendly, comfortable, accomodating, and definitely relaxing. This was our first stay at Gabriel's at the Ashbrooke Inn. The two Elizabeth's are warm and engaging and extremely helpful. Our room had a fabulous queen size tempurpedic mattress, gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and many other lovely features. We can't wait to go back!!

Gabriel's is an excellent choice for visitors to Provincetown -- perfect location one block away from the heart of "downtown" making everything absolutely walkable, super friendly people (staff AND guests), an excellent breakfast (far and away THE best cinnamon scone ever!), immaculate rooms with all amenities, and a stunning garden/courtyard (even in winter!).

The room was beautiful; loved having the fireplace. We really enjoyed breakfast in the great room; meeting the other guests and the puppies!

We stayed in the Olivia room at Gabriel's. Having never been to a B&B before we were unsure of what to expect. Upon entering our room the Olivia we knew we made a GREAT choice! The room was perfectly decorated for a homey feel and the electronic amenities made it all the more better. There is a flat screen TV in the bath, perfect for when you use the jacuzzi tub. The next morning was the topping on the cake for us. We had planned to go for breakfast before we left Ptown. Our first thought was Fanizzis but we decided to check out the continental breakfast provided. Wow I was really surprised to find it was the perfect place for breakfast. They offered fresh scrambled eggs and pancakes as well as your typical continental breakfast and they provided a tray to bring it back to our room.

Loved the dog friendly digs. Easy to find, nice side exit to the park. The shower was awesome!

The room and location was ideal for our stay. Our dog also loved the treats, and dog bed that was waiting for him when we got there. We can not wait to come back and stay again. Thanks for everything.

We Love Everything about Gabriel's. The rooms are large and clean. We stay in the Susan roon out back thru the court yard. All it takes is one stay and you will be hooked like us!! See you there......

Stayed there for our one year anniversary and it was wonderful. You get what is advertised and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We plan on making this our number one place to stay when we visit Provincetown.

We recently stayed in Hope for our 1st visit at Gabriel's drawn there by the ideal location and inviting room with fireplace and fabulous window! We were not disappointed when we arrived, we absolutely loved the entrance to our room right on Bradford Street and were extremely happy when we opened the door. Hope is adorable, comfortable and sooo cozy...our only disappointment was the lack of a bathroom sink, although understandable due to size restrictions we prefer a bathroom sink for brushing etc...however that did not take away from the absolute charm of the room. The staff was very accomodating and we thought Christopher was wonderful. His movie recommendation on our first night was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful as well...the staff was very pleasant and the omelette was incredible (just wish they had homefries/hashbrowns)...delicious breakfast in the great room. As for location, we never needed our Jeep, it stayed parked along side town hall within view of our room, while we took the minutes walk to town. Headed back to our room after a day in town and to our extreme pleasure found the outdoor firepit lit..what a treat!! Loved that...then back to our comfy room for another movie (from Gabriels extensive selection) by the fireplace...we left knowing we will definitely be back...

This was my first time experiencing a B & B and being from Atlanta I was not expecting such hospitality in the north. The stay, staff and the room were all amazing. I stayed in the Laurel and the room exceeded my expectations. This was a portion of my Valentine's Day gift and I was completely satisfied. I will most certainly return and have already shared the webpage with friends and co-workers back home in Atlanta, GA. Although, I was a thousand miles from home the warm staff and lovely rooms made me feel at home. Thank you for the beautiful experience.

The staff and owners of Gabriel's can't do enough for you. Very friendly and go all out to please guests. The breakfast is fantastic. Met some real nice folks over breakfast each morning and really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay here so much. There was a sense of community but also privacy and a feeling of having a private entrance. Someone was always available to help with anything we needed, and breakfast was particularly relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend Gabriel's for New Year's, when we were there. It was convenient and delightful. I would hesitate to stay here during the high season when it might seem to be at the crossroads of the Cape. The Elizabeths and Christopher and staff are wonderful and you couldn't do better for hospitality and facilities. Specific applause for the shower!

We had a wonderful weekend and holiday as guests at Gabriel's. Elizabeth, Elizabeth and staff went out of their way to meet our needs and make our stay enjoyable. The location is top notch, breakfast was awesome! Any problems with our room were addressed and rectified immediately. We'll be back!

The room was spectacular! Stayed to show a friend the Cape for New Years, and this inn made the trip. Most of the time, we only left the room for food, and going out to walk the beaches, both of which were simple walks from the inn, being located right behind the town hall.

This was such an absolutely fabulous, charming place to stay. Because our stay was in the off-season in December, I was able to afford a larger suite than I would in the summer. I brought my mother for her first visit to Provincetown, and we couldn't have been happier with Gabriel's. The property is beautiful, and right in the heart of the town, so convenient to all the shopping and galleries. Our suite was spacious and just perfect. One of the favorite things about it was the gas fireplace connected to the wall thermostat. The jacuzzi tub and tricked out shower were nice as well. Breakfast each morning was delicious and hot cider and cookies in the afternoon were a treat. A highlight of each day for me was discussing Will Ferrell comedies with Christopher in the DVD lending library. I would love to stay at Gabriel's again and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Stayed here for my honeymoon which was also the "Holly Folly" weekend and had such a great time. Gabriel's is a magical place. The courtyard is gorgeous and even though it was December we were still able to sit out by the fire pit for a night cap. The innkeepers were very friendly and the food was excellent. Breakfast was amazing; waffles, eggs, home made granola, pastries, bagels, you name it. They even had a little fridge for soy & almond milk, and there was always some sort of tantalizing sweet out for the taking in the great room. The room was very clean and well appointed. We stayed in the "Quan Yin" room and there was a great balcony overlooking the courtyard. The innkeeper joked that we had the "Evita" view. Not a huge fan of the bed but I guess that's just a personal preference, it's a tempurpedic which I thought I would enjoy but found it to be a bit uncomfortable. The jacuzzi tub, fireplace, skylight, balcony & kitchenette were definite pluses though. The location can't be beat! Being downtown and only one street away from Commercial was great. Also, the view of the Pilgrim Monument from the inn is amazing, it was all lit up like a Christmas tree for the holidays and made for a nice backdrop to it all. I think the only small downfall is parking. There is a little spot by the office for unloading/loading, but that's it. They offer parking for a fee but I believe the spots are a little walk from the inn. Because we went in the off season, we were able to park in one of the municipal lots for free and didn't have trouble finding a spot, I would assume it probably best to pay for a spot in the summer. As part of the "Holly Folly" festivities we participated in the inn stroll and were able to check out a few other places. I can confidently say Gabriel's was probably the homiest and nicest places we could have chosen. We will definitely be returning!!!

We spent several days in Provincetown recently. Our stay at Gabriels was everything we hoped for and more! The staff is so accomodating and helpful. My partner and I were married while there, we had our ceremony in the Great Room. Christopher was so sweet and took some wonderful photographs for us! Upon arrival at Gabriels you immediately feel genuinely welcomed and as though you are with friends. We stayed in Willow. The room was comfy & clean and the shower was divine! It is the perfect location, just a short stroll to nearly everything. We are already making plans to return next year! Thank you to the entire Gabriels staff for helping make our wedding & honeymoon so wonderful!

A perfect stay at Gabriel's . . . During Thanksgiving week a friend and I stayed at Gabriel's in Provincetown. Although it was off-season, plenty of shops, galleries and restaurants were open to provide for an engaging week. And since Gabriel's is located right in the center of town, everything was easily available to us. But Gabriel's itself is so wonderful that we wanted to spend lots of time there as well. Our room was charming and very comfortable and, while being quite large, it is appointed so ideally that it is also very cozy. And, the bath accommodations are unbelievable including a whirlpool Jacuzzi tub with a steam sauna rainfall shower system including 9 adjustable jets. And we also enjoyed a swing on our balcony overlooking the garden which includes nooks of seating areas along with an open rock fire and a peaceful buddha sculpure intermingled throughout the foliage. Also the Inn makes available a large Great Room which is very comfortable and where games and books are provided for entertainment. It's a great place to spend time in front of the fireplace (even though I did lose a chess match there). And I can't leave out that the entire staff at Gabriel's is wonderful ! At all hours they are welcoming and in good spirits and always a pleasure to happen to cross paths with. So, we give Gabriel's our unqualified, enthusiatic recommendation. YES!!! How funny was that! We burn cookies, and the entire fire department of Provincetown is here in 4 minutes! Everyone had a good chuckle and we even heard that the burnt cookies found a new home on someones tree as an ornament!

My wife and I enjoyed a delighful weekend away at Gabriel's. The room was amazing and the staff went out of their way to help us feel so at home.

The rooms, beautiful,clean,very comfortable. The staff was attentive but not intrusive. Breakfast was excellent. I would not stay anywhere else but Gabriel's

The great thing about Gabriel's is one can be private since so many rooms have their own entrance to the outside world and guests can also take their breakfast to their rooms if they prefer OR come to our Great Room to meet us and all the other wonderful people who stay at our inn!

The women who own and run Gabriel's take the time to get to know their guests and provide the personal touch to make every stay a pleasure. They go out of their way to meet individual needs. A wonderful place to stay.

What a great time! The room was so clean you could practically eat off the floor, no kidding! The staff was wonderful, the grounds were spectacular & our room was phenominal! We look forward to our next trip!

I came here without knowing much about the B&B mainly because they were pet-friendly. Turns out this place is not only pet-super-friendly, but super-people-friendly as well. The rooms were absolutely fantastic, from the incredibly confortable beds to the luxurious spa-showers and tubs. The staff couldn't be more friendly and kind. The breakfasts were outstanding as well. We had come planning on staying for one night and ended up having to stay for two because it was just that great. I recommend Gabriel's most strongly!

Wonderful place to stay. We had a room with burners and needed an extra pot - they loaned us one. Really nice staff, really great breakfasts. Love the location in the center of town since you can walk everywhere and don't need to drive to dinner.

Very cozy inn. Amenities were very well thought-out (like the loaner umbrellas). Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Check in/out were a breeze.
