    FAMILIES WELCOME! $59 PER NIGHT! WINTER SPECIAL* Our downtown locations offer a unique choice: Near restaurants, cafes, galleries, museums. Each apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen, large living room and one or two bedrooms. For convenience, we provide cable TV, HBO, VCRs, DVDs and WiFi, and such essentials as porta-cribs, cots, etc. All apartments--one and two bedrooms. No cramped efficiencies. We offer vacation travelers a very unique experience! Each of our apartments and condos is tucked away in one of six historic, colonial-period homes just steps from the downtown. The houses still have many original features, moldings, wainscoting, wide pine floors and fireplaces. On the other hand, the beaches at Plum Island are very inviting in the summmer! Going Sensible Green. To save the environment and save you money, we offer housekeeping as an option. We're always happy to provide clean towels and sheets on request. Each room is air conditioned, of course. We just encourage guests to turn it off when leaving for any extended period of time. These small steps add up if everyone does them. You may reserve by the night, week or month (beach rentals are by the week). When you arrive the only thing you need is a suitcase! We take care of the rest. *30 nights required.

    Reservation Policy

    • Minimum stay: Two-night minimum for apartments.

    • Deposit amount required: For seasonal rentals, we charge 50% of the balance due at the time of the reservation and collect full payment at check-in. $350 deposit required for non-seasonal rentals.

    • Cancellations: 45 days notice required for summer vacation apartments of one week or longer. Refunds will be given if the unit can be re-rented. If the unit cannot be re-rented, credit will be applied to the next stay. Seven days notice required for stays of three days or less. Regrettably, we cannot insure against bad weather or travel conditions. We do not refund for cancellations due to weather or weather related emergencies. We do advise our guests to consider trip insurance.

    Reserved 2 rooms at "b & b" on very short notice for 4 days. No toiletries, toilet leaked, no way to reach owner or manager except by email as "voicemail full". Toilet leaked. No onsite manager. When decided to leave after 2 days owner wanted to charge for 4 although clearly our reservation, made just the day before we arrived, had not deprived him of an alternative booking. a disaster. Can't speak for other properties but avoid the market street inn.
